Ex-The Ark Members Euna Kim and Jeon Minju in Talks to Release Duo Album

Euna Kim and Jeon Min Ju may be reuniting as a duo!

The former The Ark members attended a show at Seoul Fashion Week together on March 21, and it was reported on March 26 that the duo is working on an album aimed for a May release.

In response, Euna Kim’s agency Maroo Entertainment commented, “It is in discussion for Euna Kim and Jeon Min Ju to release an album together in the near future.”

Euna Kim first auditioned for “Superstar K3” in 2011, while Jeon Min Ju auditioned for “K-pop Star 2” in 2012. The two released project track “Good Bye Rain” in 2014 and then debuted with The Ark in 2015. After the group disbanded, Jeon Min Ju appeared on “K-pop Star 6” in 2016, while Euna Kim competed in “Unpretty Rapstar 3” in 2016 and “The Unit” in 2017. Jeon Min Ju was preparing to debut with a new girl group called DAYDAY, but the group disbanded in October 2017.

I’m still forever bitter about Euna and Semmi not making the final group for the Unit. Euna shined throughout the entire show only to get left out. Also still mad at MNet for cutting her great performance in the UPR3vsSMTM episode.

In all honesty tho, I love how all five are still so close and call themselves the ark, they meet up regularly, support each other in all their activities, and honestly seeing them in practice room pictures together makes me wonder if we’ll have an ot5 reunion coming as well (or rather four sans yujin - she’s still really close with them but I think she may not be able to return for whatever reason)
