Jang Ki Yong and Jin Ki Joo confirmed for MBC drama

Jang Ki Yong and Jin Ki Joo are starring in a drama together!

On March 23, a source from MBC’s upcoming drama “Come Here and Hug Me” announced that Heo Joon Ho, Jang Ki Yong, and Jin Ki Joo have been confirmed as leads. The three actors will begin filming soon.

The new series is about a man and a woman whose fates crisscross following a murder incident that leaves them both emotionally scarred. Jang Ki Yong will be playing the role of a detective who graduated from police university. He’s described as cheerful and optimistic, and his sense of justice is so exceptional that he stands out sharply, like an awl. Jin Ki Joo's character is a woman who dreams of becoming an actress like her mother, and though she endures a horrific incident, she overcomes it and becomes an actress.

“Come Here and Hug Me” is scheduled to air in mid-May after “Let's Hold Hands and Watch the Sunset” comes to and.

Originally casting reports had Nam Joo Hyuk and Suzy up for the roles. They (obviously) declined and it looks like production went for some newer actors.

Yay! Jang Ki Young is super talented. I like him.
I know I've seen Jin Ki Joo in something but I'm not sure what. She is gorgeous though and I am looking forward to seeing a drama with these two as leads.

As soon as I saw that Jin Ki Joo was in a web drama with VIXX's Hongbin I binged the series and now it's 5AM. She's solid and endearing even in a web drama and she was adorable in the first few eps of Scarlet Heart so I'm looking forward to seeing her again! Also Jang Ki Yong is gorgeous and was great in the back to the past dress

I thought Jin Ki Joo did a great job holding her own opposite Kim Nam Joo in Misty, so i'd like to see her do well in her career.

It's hard to look at Jang Ki Yong after watching My Mister but i liked him in other stuff.

Yay JKJ was so wasted in Misty (along with everything else) that this actually made me too happy after that disastrous ending. Gonna finish Wednesday at 3:30pm because she’s so damn charismatic and beautiful.
