Sleek and Fun

Brown Eyed Girls just ooze sexuality and the aggressive edge was insanely hot. It takes more than eyeliner to be sexy; you got to have presence and swagger.

I love Baek Ji Yeon. She is the only woman who can tame the Beast. I expect nothing but perfection from her.Never disappointed.

Overall, I LOVE these sleek, sexy and aggressive performances from all the girl groups. It’s also about damn time Janet Jackson gets some love and respect. Hyoyeon seemed to have so much fun during the Rhythm Nation dance. God SNSD looks good in sleek black outfits. Those lollipops and tutus in the past should be drenched in acid. Kara’s dance was hot until they began writhing on the floor and spreaded their legs. That was just creepy.

2ne1 looked so classy and sleek without the ridiculous colors. I’m loving the reggae remix of I Don’t Care. Dara looked gorgeous.

2pm’s Boom Boom Pow needs more hip thrusting. Jay, I miss your sweaty chocolate abs in HD on my screen. It was sweet of Taecyeon to say “This is for Jay”.

Shinee’s Just Dance cover was unexpected and hilarious. I’m glad they didn’t give Onew sunglasses. I want to see him in all his spazzy glory.

The Michael Jackson tributes have been pretty disappointing. The lines are usually messy and there is always some off the beat. I appreciate the effort and dedication, but the result is just sloppy. However, the ballad covers were admirable. I’ll Be There and Ben was simply wonderful. Nicole singing Ben was a pleasant surprise. The video tributes were well edited.


Kim Gun Mo with SNSD was so bubbly and sweet. Taeyeon sounded great. The end was so energetic and fun!

JYP’s performance was damn hot, even though it seems like he needed a respirator in some parts. He’s such an intense performer; you can’t take your eyes off him.

Leessang was brilliant as usual. I love grooving to her song.

KBS Gayo Daejun definitely trumped SBS Gayo. Although the SBS Gayo had more dynamic performances, everything seemed unorganized and spastic. KBS showcased better collaborations, dance routines, and varied performers (it wasn’t the 2PM show).

Whenever I see SNSD dance, i think they should change their concept from the cute crap to just being fierce performers. Their Janet Jackson dance was pretty damn great and I want to see more of THAT!!!

don't get me wrong, 2PM are my ultimate bias, but their dance stage could've used a lot more practice. it was clearly rushed and there were several mistakes (less preening, more work on your shirtripping, junsu bb).
