Date: 2018-03-20 11:08 pm (UTC)It is so mature and adult-type shit.
Refreshing as fuck, from all the teeny-bopper dramas usually being thrown at us.

Date: 2018-03-20 11:20 pm (UTC)When I tell you I am SHOOK to my core with this show.
I had no idea Korea was able to produce this kind of quality with their dramas.
And for it to be a female driven drama at that, with super acting, writing, characters and development.
The most important thing this show does right for me, is that it is not cliche nor does it fall into the typical K-drama tropes.
Because of this show and the hope it's given me for K-dramas, I'm not trying other dramas out...
So far I like Cross (the medical drama about revenge, which is really good so far) and Return (a 30-minute episodic, "who done it", mystery thriller show...that is a hot mess, with rich people doing fucked up shit and getting their just desserts).
Basically, K-dramas have surprised me as of lately.

Date: 2018-03-20 11:06 pm (UTC)I don't even watch K-dramas like that anymore, but this honestly one of the best drama's I've ever watched...
I love the characters, writing and acting.
A fucking masterclass.

Date: 2018-03-21 06:11 pm (UTC)And now that we have a discussion post I don't even know where to start lol because this drama is THE best roller coaster I've ever taken in Dramaland and MAN, it's SO worth it.
I cry, I scream, I'm in awe and shock and I can't get enough of Queen of Badasserie aka Go Hye Ran. She is fearless and fierce (which is the best combo for me) and Kim Nam Joo is just an amazing actress. And Tae Wook is the perfect blend for me lol, a cute and adorable puppy yet a protective and loving man UGH, I don't know why but I find him so endearing sometimes.
After watching Ep 12, I'm really wondering tho' what's the Director's move in all this, is he with GHR or does he have another motive so he can keep his seat?
Also I may be the only one who thought that but for a sec I thought that the detective would be Myung woo's father or brother therefore he would need to prove that GHR killed Kevin Lee since he holds a grudge against her.
I can't wait to see how the trial will go and the big reveal on who killed Kevin Lee but I don't want this great show to end already :'(
