ok but this is like the go-to career path for ppl with no discernible talents lmao and she actually has talent so what a waste tbh. these 2nd gen girl group members that don't pursue acting careers are getting downgraded so damn fast.

I hate that the life span of an idol's career is so short (esp. for girl groups) and that they're basically screwed if they don't go into the acting industry, like what else is there to do that's sustainable??

I think this will be a good career path for her. Not only does she has experience from her clubbing days, but also from that dj program she was in last year.

Happy for her! She's been doing it for a while so it's not surprising that she's going pro now. She'll be able to do a lot more than if she just stayed as a solo artist in SM - she's not SM's priority so it's clever to have something to do in-between comebacks SM will allow her to have. Hope she does well!
