In middle of new sexual harassment/rape acussations, veteran actor commented about #metoo movement in a recent interview, he spoke directly to all those actors who admited their guilt

I dont think they are the same people. The ones who call the victims liar and attention seekers are fans of the said idols.

Knetizen in the other hand are pretty brutal and I remember their comment on Hyunjoong and the crack bones when the news first comes out.

I know that was the case for Hyunjoong eventually but Yoochun's accusers either got in trouble with the police or withdrew their claims? Either way, not much public support for them. I saw more backlash for Yoochun for his weird marriage situation than these accusations.

I feel like there was probably the bias of Yoochun being at so-called "seedy" areas when he was carrying out his assaults.
There's forward movement in recognizing sexual assault but still the stigma of "troubled" people etc.

I sincerely hope that it becomes a Thing where senior actors & actresses keep an eye on these assholes and ensure they never enter the industry again. Because lbr a few years down the road some of these trash are going to come crawling back onto variety shows with their sob stories of how they've been ~repenting and then start acting again. Ugh.
