okay. a disclaimer: this post is really brief. condensed. to the point. it's probably the most difficult one i've ever had to make on here. as said above: shinee finished up their fourth consecutive dome tour on tuesday, february 27th. there were four total concerts: two held at kyocera dome between february 17th - 18th, and a final two held at tokyo dome between february 26th - 27th. it was their fourth time performing at tokyo dome and their third performing at kyocera. the concerts were successful and pretty much entirely sold out but..... very emotional and overall seemed to be difficult for the members (despite them being able to loosen up during some of the more uptempo performances) which is another reason why i'm keeping this brief. i'm only going to include fancams of the performances of their two new tracks, both which will be featured on their best of (/ greatest hits) album to be released in japan on april 18th. the concerts acted as a culmination of their activities in japan up until this point, a memorialization of jonghyun and way for okmt to stress that shinee will forever be five.

Onew: Really, thank you very much. Thank you, as always. Thank you for helping finish this stage like how we always do. I think today we empathize with each other's feelings, right? I'll work hard for everyone's happiness. Thank you.

Key: I believe today's BEST live and SHINee's upcoming anniversary will bring up memories ... and also help to imagine SHINee's future activities and work. For me, personally, I've always said I will work hard after recieving love and strength from everyone while touring and I'll work hard as I wish to keep that promise to everyone. Please support us in the future, just like today's live, from now on. Thank you. We also want to do our very best for the sake of Jonghyun. We want to be able to reach him too. Love you. Everyone, please do not forget Jonghyun. SHINee will forever be five.

Minho: To be honest, I was scared and dreadful but I was not alone in this and could overcome this with many others and ... everyone. Not only today's stage, but I hope to have that thought that five of us are standing here on stage together in all future stages as well and I hope everyone can promise me one thing: to remember Jonghyun forever. Even though it's hard to explain in words ... but I want to say that he is really precious to me and that I love him. Today, as expected, the time spend with everyone was my greatest happiness. Thank you too, today. Everyone is always my hope. I'll work hard to not let my hope get hurt. Thank you.

Taemin: Jonghyun-san shared a lot of irreplaceable memories with us. He is like family to me, and he is a person I walked through life with. I'll never forget him and keep him in my heart forever. A new curtain will rise for us and our bond will grow stronger. I will continue to do my best as SHINee and as Taemin. Thank you.

I listened to all the shows live and it was so nice to be in the streams with so many Shawols across the world. It was very therapeutic. We all gasped at how much Taemin had improve singing Jonghyun's part.
I especially loved Why So Serious and it felt not as sad because I remembered when they performed that song without Jonghyun while he was recovering... so it didn't hurt as much hearing only 4 voices during that particular performance.

I'm just now watching clips of the concert. Onew got thicccc, ;) he split his pants, during a performance and forgot to sing during another and laughed at himself. The first night the fans were chanting Shinee and the streamer had the cutest "Woop woop!" chant.

They did great. I felt closer to them and hopefully they felt all the love from everyone across the world.

i have a lot of feelings about everything. so i'm gonna keep this as short as i can gsdogds lol. i streamed the first night and i found... no comfort in anything. it was miserable for me and i didn't find much comfort in the concerts that followed either. it was like a stab to my gut every time, ugh. ultimately ... i do believe that they were able to find comfort in shawols and that they were able to get lost in the upbeat performances but their pain was so raw and obvious in the performances "with" him or dedicated to him. i'm just glad that they're over now and i hope that they're able to rest in the coming weeks because none of them got much time off post-december 18th. (i'm a bit worried about onew and minho specifically but... yeah.)

I went to both Tokyo Dome concerts, and it was so hard.
They were all visibly upset during both Jonghyun tribute parts, during the new songs, and especially during Diamond Sky. Fans were also crying throughout the entire concert (me included).
That said, I do think they found some strength in sharing these emotions with Shawols, who in their turn wanted to show them that they will always support them whatever they decide. After reading reports on Kyocera, I definitely saw more smiles and playful behaviour between the members than what the reports said.. I hope that means they felt even a tiny bit better after seeing their fans and feeling their support..

I talked to some J-shawols during, and although they all felt honoured that SHINee went through with the concerts in Japan, all they really wanted was for the members to find whatever peace they can while they're still together (with Onew probably entering the army later this year) and that they get some private time after this. And that they get to spend time with K-shawols when and if they want to..

Also, Shawols in general are amazing. There was so many exchanges of gifts before and after the concerts. I saw a k-shawols handing out Jjong's albums to J-shawols sitting behind her, k-shawols handing out big pictures of Jjong with his lyrics from End of a day on the back, J-shawols helping I-shawols & k-shawols get tickets for the concerts, Shawols in general sharing the gold and silver tape that were sent out throughout the arena area (fans usually collect these as a reminder of specific concerts).. I'm so happy to be a part of this amazing fandom.

I attended the dome concerts on 18th at kyocera dome and 26th at tokyo dome and they were... heavy. Really wished I could have attended concert on 27th. Attending the concerts were somewhat therapeutic yet difficult. But the boys were also so so strong. I can only hope that they felt at least a tiny bit better performing for shawols.
