Happy Friday! Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see what was on top for the 4th week in February, 2010.


#3 Big Bang “Lollipop 2”
This follow up to the hit “Lollipop” 2NE1 collaboration also did very well on the charts. They’re so little and colorful and cute! As far as I’m concerned, the chorus choreo is just a ChoomTop solo…rock with it, Tabi!

#2 T-ara “Crazy Because Of You”
I haven’t seen this MV in years! I remember the live performances more than this video, I really liked this song back then. Jesus, there’s a lot of quick cuts in this, it’s making my heard hurt lol. Seriously, this video should come with a warning.

#1 Kara “Lupin”
Forever my favorite Kara song! I could watch those Hara hair flips all day. I can’t believe this was 8 years ago, I remember this era so clearly.

#7 2NE1 “Follow Me”
I don’t remember anything about this at all. The chorus kind of sounds familiar to me, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen the MV in full before…maybe just bits and pieces. I miss Bom.

#10 Untouchable featuring Narsha “Living In The Heart”
I was so confused, I was like “Narsha looks different…” lol what a dumbass. I don’t remember this, but I’m liking it. I love me a nice orchestration, and the chorus is also really pretty. Sleepy hasn’t changed much lol.

I've never followed girl groups too much but boy did T-ara have some good bops back then. I remember listening to this and I'm in pain a lot ages ago.

And Kara's Lupin has aged well?? I'm feeling very bitter old lady missing the days gg songs were catchy and had great progressions, I'd have the overused autotune over the rapping/talking/shouting in kid's voice shit producers are into now a thousand times.

All these tracks bring back so many memories to when I was a fresh faced Kpop stan oh my god. I loved Lollipop 2, Lupin got me into Kara and this was the time of T-ara's legendary Absolute First album. 2NE1's cf track was fun too :P
