Lee Sang-hwa wins silver in women's 500m speed skating
South Korea's speed skating sprinter Lee Sang-hwa, the defending Olympic champion, won silver in the women's 500 meter race at the PyeongChang Winter Games on Sunday.

Choi Min-jeong wins women's 1500m short-track gold
Choi Min-jeong won the women's 1500m short-track final to claim host nation South Korea's third gold of the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Seo Yi-ra wins bronze in men’s 1,000m short track
Seo, the reigning world overall champion in short track, finished third in the 1,000m finals at the Gangeung Ice Arena, behind Canadian Samuel Girard and U.S. John-Henry Krueger.

Omg i felt so bad for the mens speed skaters. Idk how they skate soooo fucking close to another like that and it sucks if someone else fucks you over in the finals :( all that hard word and its partially out of your control

I'm off to my last live event tomorrow. Any interest in a post with pictures I've taken at the venues and around Korea? (may be slightly random). I would try to do it before Closing Ceremonies, but it may be beginning of March.

And the Korean volunteers are my favorite thing so far. They're so cute in their little matching outfits. The ladies have coordinating bright lippies, and they're nice, and young, and freezing half the time but still smile at you. They're awesome. I luff them.
