Brown Eyed Girls not disbanding + new album later this year

Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha has denied speculations that the squad is disbanding. She admitted that the speculations about their disbandment might be because of the delay in the release of their next album. Narsha assured that it is not happening. She also promised to work harder so they could finally release their new album this year.

"Brown Eyed Girls' album release keeps on getting delayed. That's why many people assumed that we broke up but we didn't disband yet." she said at the 7th GAON Chart Kpop Awards which was held at Seoul Jamsil Stadium on Wednesday. "We're all focusing on our individual activities but we will do our best to release a Brown Eyed Girls' album within this year." Narsha added.

If they ever did disband (which I'm sure they will one day) I would be sad but I never 'worry' about it - idk I just always figure they'll release something when they're ready/are happy with what they've got. If I had been in the industry as long as them and had independent careers like they all do I'd probably be pretty easygoing about releasing group albums too. It's cool, I'm happy to wait for their next masterpiece.

that's exactly how I feel about them. they've all got their own things going on and they seem to mostly be pretty content to do their separate activities and come back together at their own pace when they're ready to do group music.

They certainly have the winning formula for a group. They're all so strong individually and aren't pressed to "keep up with the joneses" alongside all the younger idol groups. So proud of them and can't wait.

It's always people who don't follow BEG that jump on to these rumors. They've never given any indication that they're going anywhere. Their albums are always worth the wait

I was just thinking, with Miryo's new song, about them and here they are. I don't actually think they'll disband or come up with news about disbandment, because they're all doing their individual stuff, and come together as and when. and that's actually the best option for veteran groups, because it's not gonna work out if they constantly focus on the group itself?

I'm defo excited for new music from them. (Wave and Fractal are still on my playlists after so long)

It was pushed to early 2017 and then she had her public breakdown and was fighting against her panic disorder so she’s been resting since. She’s working on something now though, she traveled to Europe to film some stuff.
