Hi everyone, I’m Zhoumi of Super Junior-M.

Not long ago, SJ-M was interviewed in Taiwan, and because of my misuse of words I caused a big misunderstanding and a bad influence, I have been very guilty because of this…

That was not what I meant to say.

So I would like to apologise to everyone here: Sorry!

I sincerely hope that everyone will forgive my mistake, and I’ve truly learnt through this incident, that an artiste’s actions and public image are infinitely important.

I will be more careful next time so that I do not make the same mistake again.

You know what, I've been in an earthquake before, it is fun.

The aftermath, not so much. I don't fault him for thinking it, but he shouldn't have said it. Or, he shouldn't have said it like that.

Poor guy just needs more practice opening his mouth in front of interviewers, I guess. He just hasn't learned to BS as well as some.

I totally didn't even know what he was apologising for before I read the comments... really? He's... a guy. The floor is shaking. I'd probably be giggling too if it happened enough to me. Hell, in some parts of Cali, aren't small earthquakes a daily thing?

not really, there are more than 70,000 confirmed dead, 20,000 missing, 300,000+ injured and millions homeless because of the Sichuan Earthquake. it was a horrible and devastating tragedy, especially because a lot of children died. i know, because i was working in a humanitarian organization that gave them interntional aid when it happened.

i understand that the media & audience misinterpreted his words (i saw the clip, and he definitely did not mean it like that), and it was a honest slip up.

but let's not trivialize it either :]

I feel for Zhoumi because I would've made a similar careless mistake because I don't think of what I'm about to say beforehand. It will obviously be taken the wrong way.

I like that he clarified to some extent along with the apology. Even if it was his intention to say that, I don't think he expected to convey what he did.
