Honestly for me, Donghan >>>>>>>>> Eunki which is insane cuz I thought this song would be perfect for Eunki but he kinda flopped for me. Not a fan of Donghan's voice and I got issues w/ his cover but I think he pulled it off better.

In a way Eunki and Donghan's covers both have the same issues for me but basically the issues are more pronounced w/ Eunki's lol. I think this choreo has to look rly rly rly rly smooth and effortless to not look clunky and weird - Eunki's movements are wayyyy too big (his main style is whacking so I guess this isn't surprising lol) and the transitions weren't smooth imo. Donghan kind of transitions between too floppy in certain parts and too stiff / masculine in others BUT overall his is wayyyy better than Eunki's imo! My main issue w/ Donghan's lbr is just the fact that I don't enjoy his singing voice lmaoooooo.

And N doing this would literally change lives, I fckn NEED IT omg why did you put this in my head when you know it'll never happen!!! lmaooo

Eunki is such a king.I think he couldn't quite match the sensuality of the original but his voice was pretty solid.

And for underrated contestants: KIM SEONGRI!!!!!!! I will forever be bitter at how, despite being the best singer on the show (Screech!Hwan fans can fight me), being funny af and a good dancer, he never got any shine for it.

I haven't watch Eunki's yet, but I REALLY LIKE DONGHAN'S COVER.
I just didn't expect him to do that good? Imho, Donghan wasn't that much of a standout during produce, his skill was average (good, but that is that) and i feel so great to see him grow?

I think he is able to control his vocal better now and the way he interpret the choreography? Move is hard because imo, it require elegance and fierceness at the same time and DONGHAN ABLE TO PULL IT I'm so proud of him! Kudos to my ex P101 boys. I love to see their skill getting better!

donghan's always been a good dancer, i think the thing w/ pd101 is that the main songs (pick me, nayana) do nothing to showcase the kids' actual talents and instead depend on their ability to learn lyrics/choreo in under 3 days. they also pick like 20 or 30 trainees to focus on so donghan didn't really have much screentime til the latter half of the show.

his vocals have def improved but yeah pre-101 he was in a dance team so that's always been his area!

ia, p101 doesn't actually show many of the trainees talents but you can't blame them with so many trainees it's just not possible but i do wish they had spend less time on people like hyunbin (no offence i do like him) and focused on trainees that did already have better skills.

like i would have said donghan was one of my favourites while watching p101 but that was just random affection really i don't think i would have been able to say what his speciality even was with how little screentime he had i was actually amazed he was included in jbj.

yeah like i do Get that they can't but if they spent less time recapping the same old drama and having 874343385 close ups of a trainee's face they'd have more time to showcase more of them.

i'm doing a rewatch rn and i'm surprised at how often donghan is actually featured, because i just didn't know to pay attention to him back then haha.

speaking of random affection, my random fave was seo seonghyuk. he was the one who hit his head on the table when receiving his updated ranking and the one who rose from like #95 to 50-something

The JBJ boys are being mentored vocally by Spica's Boa so I really hope they continue improving! Donghan's vocals are definitely way better than they were on P101 altho' he still has a long way to go. I feel like he improved between Fantasy and My Flower tho so he's making rapid changes which is good!

he's definitely got so much better vocally he's so much more stable now and even his tone sounds nicer to me now it's a lot less nasal.
