💞 healing post 💞: featuring jonghyun's most precious girl

hello all! i hope you're doing well! 💖💞 leading into the release of jonghyun's album tomorrow: i know that this week is probably going to be another difficult one for everyone (or at least the coming days) so i figured it wouldn't hurt to make a healing post of sort - though with a more ... specific focus of the last: roo. two days ago in korea (january 20th) the instagram for a doggy daycare center, the doodle shop, began to post pictures and videos of roo, jonghyun's infamous and super cherished dachshund. the first post was just a general one but once people caught on to the fact that the roo they were posting about was his roo they began to get a slew of messages asking how she is doing, thanking them for taking good care of her, etc. the moderator of the instagram has responded by kindly giving updates of roo - and a lot of them, at that. apparently she's going to be visiting them for awhile so we're probably going to continue getting updates moving forward for a bit. and a quick note for anyone wondering: it seems like the center has closing hours so she's probably being taken there during the daytime when jonghyun's sister and mom work and so she can interact with other dogs, seeing as jonghyun frequently mentioned in the past that she was anxious / nervous around them. (she's very sensitive.) but yes! i hope that people can enjoy this post for what it is and, even if it's sad knowing that we're not seeing her because of him, it's still a bit comforting that we're still able to see her at all, considering that she's like a furry little extension of him. (they even resemble each other! look at her eyes!)

my dog (husky) is the same way. she doesn't get to socialize with other dogs as much but she's very friendly and overexcited and she definitely doesn't know how to play at all lmao. we were dogsitting for my friend while he was away for a month, and his dog is a poodle/chihuahua mix (i think) and they both weren't used to other dogs so they were SO rough with each other sometimes lmao. like can you guys not just chill and snuggle together, pls.

This is the same pet hotel Leeteuk takes his dog Shimkoong to. An Elf was the first person to notice when they first started posting pictures of her, afaik. When this info was first going around twitter I saw a lot of people worried this meant something bad happened to Roo, so I hope Shawols now know that the women there are definitely going to take good care of her and it's not a dog shelter or anything like that. Believe me, they spoil the shit out of Koongie and it looks like they're doing the same for Roo so people will know she's doing fine :) First time posting here bc I thought some people might want to know this.

In other news, the album cover and tracklist (https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/7s2si7/jonghyun_poet_l_artist_album_cover/) for his album has been posted. That'll be another post, right? I loved his other albums so I want to buy it, but idk if I should now or wait until later.

SHINee pets have all stolen my heart. She’s so cute. I about lose it when they call her and those stubby little legs run. She seems to take really well to others, and probably wouldn’t do so if they weren’t taking really good care of her and making her feel at ease. I thank them for their hard work.

reminds me of my uncle poodle when he passed away and little baby keep waiting by the door at the same time he used to comeback from work or running around the garden to see if he can find him reading in his favorite spot under the lemon tree , in that way dogs are like kids ... they dont understand when owner is gone, they just keep trying to find them 💔

omg thank you for posting this because I've been worrying and upset and wondering for a month over how his dog-baby is :( I am a dog mom to one very attached little baby so I couldn't help but have that come to mind all the time. It kills me that she has to wonder why her daddy isn't coming home but I'm glad she's being well looked after day and night <3

personally i LOVED all the insta lives with just jjong + roo cuddling and kissing, ugh i never knew of whom i was more jealous, jjong or roo haha

i really adore all the shinee pets, they are the cutest and their owners look adorable taking care of them and cuddling them haha but i always had a very soft spot for roo, she's a super cutie pie and those baby roo vids <3
