Every week I check out the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more also from top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see what we were listening to 5 years ago, in the 1st week of December, 2012. It seems that OP was actually not listening to any of these songs, because I don’t remember most of them. This particular year was very much a hit or miss with me lol.


#3 Son Dam Bi “Dripping Tears”
I don’t remember this song at all and that makes me mad because it’s a bop! The last era I remember from her was “Queen”, so I totally missed this. That blonde wig is pretty bad, she looks so much better with her natural hair. Also, wtf are those dancers wearing?!?

#2 Noel “Things I Couldn’t Say”
OP is PMS-ing and I turned on CC on this and now there’s Cheetos dust everywhere. I like the song, but I’m not feeling the lyrics at all. I don’t know, maybe not right after a breakup. I’d still be bitter and wouldn’t want to hear it lol. Also, the actress in the MV looks cold. Like, weather wise I mean. Her outfit is cute, but it looks cold out there.

#1 Ailee “I Will Show You”
I remember this song…I wasn’t a fan. Her debut still continues to be my only real fav. I’ve posted the MV before in a previous Flashback Friday, so this time we get to see a live performance.

#5 Lee Hi “1, 2, 3, 4”
This is the only other song that I remember from this week, little Princess Lee Hi with her debut song. I liked this, I thought it was a really good debut. So much cuteness.

#6 B1A4 “Tried To Walk”
I don’t remember this song, but I think I only really know 1 ½ B1A4 songs anyway. I’m so jealous and loving all the coats in this, OP is wearing flip flops right now. Most of the locations and sets in this video are so Pinterest wedding perfect. Or at least somewhere to take pretty selfies.

no seriously, what happened to Son Dambi? she was such a hit maker...first crazy, the saturday night and even that promo song for Amoled. Like it or not, Queen would be stuck in your head forever...

she was never really a top star tbh. pledis wanted to make her the female rain but that didnt happen. also there were rumors of her being a mean bitch going around, so that further killed her career.
