Happy December and weekend kids! I was going to go on a rant about how cold it is now and how I miss Australia because "November in Sydney was Just Right.mp3" but it's actually December already so screw that............ (Point about missing Oz still stands.)

YOF ended this week and the WINNER fan in me has been a mess ever since. They went from having to beg that ugly company to not disband them during their year+ hiatus to YOF on the back of this super successful year for them. The show also made me miss Oz even though I was never anywhere near WA, but even just seeing those yellow price tags in stores made me miss it lolsob.

I haven't been able to post for a while because my new job (in replacement) has been crazy busy, now that it is soon ending they say might find a spot for me in the company somewhere else. And now i dont know if i want it or not. I love the people and all but i hardly have time for myself anymore and i worry about the work the next day at home.. tough choice to make now.

I hate the college I used to go to. They have a huge journalism program and Matt Lauer had an internship program set up there and I guess a building in his name. Youths were interviewed and basically cried about losing the internship and one girl who did an internship with him at the Today show basically pulled the "but he was such a nice guy to her." The guys and a few girls pulled the "oh if he's guilty" bullshit. This was after the video of him leaked. And the college itself is bitching because they had to recently rename another building after a local owner of a new station was caught for the same shit.

It's just irritating that with all the trash men being exposed, people still pull this "oh if he's guilty" bullshit and would rather cry about themselves instead of thinking about the victims.


I also realized after watching the Mama's today that I wasted 4 hours of my life to relaize what I already knew: Mnet is a huge dick that I predicted that Xiumin would hit Baek in the face in this post (https://omonatheydidnt.livejournal.com/21567854.html#comments#comments). I'm not sure whether to be proud of this or not.













I think the one thing I'll be forever salty about was the keyman Exotic Xiumin Original was an intro where you didn't even see his face. THE FUCK? Unless it ties into their whole supposed lost their powers, there's a traitor among them that's been shown in every MV and ties into the future concert? idek why I'm thinking about it because it's all nothing.

Morning Omona! I got the job as a receptionist and I’m geeked! I’m probably going to be hella tired doing two jobs again but it’ll be worth it.

I didn’t watch the MAMAs because I was sleepy and stayed up late to watch James Corden plus I knew that shit would be posted here and on YouTube so. I watched some videos today and wow BTS really did a whole ass concert. Taehyung was so damn fine during that entire show and I thank god for Jimin having darker hair. I’m happy I missed the streaming post because it apparently got messy? Y’all these are boy bands. It’s not that serious.

Anyways I’m going to New York this month and hopefully meeting two other lovely Omonians! Y’all better be ready to deal with my awkward self 😊

hey guys sorry to unload here but i need some advice, im applying to the uk as a non eu international student and did the dumb mistake of being honest and telling them about my chronic illness (auto immune) and i was clear in saying i dont want disability benefits and that its currently in remission, they literally emailed saying the corridors are crowded and i might be "bumped/jostled when in the building" and that "they suspect that this is the best thing for me to do as i have a weak immune system|" i clap backed cos i was utterly offended, they didnt reject me yet but im worried i made a mistake in telling them, its been over 7 hours since i replied and im still furious and on the verge of tears.

is there a law or SOMETHING in the uk that i can report this to? especially if they reject me

I have problems selecting laptops too. Have you to tried to use tweezers to pop the key up. That's what I used to do. I mean it may depend upon the model but even when I popped the key out it went back in.

My one professor posted our final today and made it due in six days. I'm afraid to look. That's the longest he's given us to work on one of his tests, which have all taken me several days to complete. @_@

Meanwhile, my brother is home with his dog. I feel guilty for being relieved that it sounds like he's not going to be here for Christmas, but my sister and brother-in-law will be here with THEIR dog, and three dogs + six people in the house is too effing much.

Also, my brother and my dad have been talking nonstop about their usual list of topics of politics and the news and biology and other ~serious and intellectual things~ and it's making me increasingly uncomfortable that I never hear them talking about the sexual harassment news. There's some tl;dr history to this, but basically I don't think I'll believe any change is going to happen until I see the men in my family acknowledging that sexual harassment is a big problem. They basically act like it doesn't exist, and they've been brushing off my worries about entering a male-dominated career field for years.

hello omona from my couch, where i am parked for the night cause i'm tired and my body is killing me. i better not be catching anything. i've been dragging all afternoon. i will be so happy to sleep in tomorrow morning, i may go to bed early tonight too.

as i said in the BTS MAMA post, i lowkey watched BTS MAMA performance while at work this morning. listened to SuJu's peformance in the car.. i was determined not to miss BTS this year like i did last year, but that didn't happen. i missed Cypher and MIC Drop.

tomorrow is grocery day/my weekly trip to walmart, i am not looking forward to it, but i kinda want to be proactive for christmas this year. i tend to procrastinate and wait til last minute.got my secret santa for work. so i'm ready to do this!
