A Filipino social media influencer has put up a billboard ad near YG Entertainment building in Yongsan District, Seoul, to get BLACKPINK member Jennie's attention.
Christian Albert Gaza, also known as Xian Gaza, 28, had several pictures posted of the billboard, which he installed because he "didn't have any other way to reach Jennie," according to his post on Facebook, Sept. 30.
The advertisement contains a picture of Gaza dressed in a suit and reads, "Kim Jennie Ruby Jane, you are my ultimate crush. Can I take you out to dinner and make me the happiest man alive?" in Korean and English.
The ad, which Gaza claims cost 1.5 million Philippine pesos ($29,750), is installed on top of a five-story building near the agency's office.

waves-of-light.livejournal.comWith South Korea on its way to returning to normal from COVID-19, local broadcasters are set to resume the recording of their programs with a studio audience for the first time in nearly two years.
Cable channel tvN said Friday that its long-running skit show "Comedy Big League" will be filmed in front of an audience next Tuesday for the first time in about 20 months.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, the prime nighttime program on Sundays has been forced to conduct tapings without live spectators since Feb. 25 last year. It has adopted virtual audiences, while live applause and laughter were replaced with canned laughter.
State-run KBS TV said its new sketch comedy show "Gaeseungja" will be recorded in the presence of an on-site audience over the weekend before its premier on Nov. 13.
And the TV station's other music shows, including "Open Concert," "Immortal Songs" and "You Heeyul's Sketchbook," will be broadcast for a studio audience starting in mid-November.

Flashback Friday
2021-11-05 02:11 pmwaves-of-light.livejournal.comHey party people, happy Friday! I went to the Korean market this morning, and they had a playlist with 2NE1, Se7en, and Hyuna back to back to back. Hyuna’s “Red” is a lot to comprehend at 9am in the ramen aisle, but still appreciated. Also, three different Korean markets and Samyang Buldak Carbonara is out of stock, wtf? Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back to the 1st week in November, 2012.
#3 Primary featuring Zion.T & Choiza “?”
Okay, I can’t tell 100% if it’s Primary on the stage because he doesn’t have a box on his head lol wtf, but I think it is. I remember him being kind of cute without the box. This was one of the 20 songs on Primary’s “Primary and the Messengers LP”. Three of those songs feature Zion.T, including this one. It was the bestselling and highest charting song on the album. Here’s a really fun stage at some show at Mnet.
