omg this makes me happy :D but was it me or did this performance seem like 10x better than that first one they did? like they seemed more harmonized in this one or something. maybe its me though xD
lmao, now no one can say anything about the stupid spaces, since the space between jaejoong and yoochun was twice as long as the space between jaejoong and changmin.
eh, it's better than before, but how can you judge from like a 10 second clip of them saying merry christmas.

Yunho looked like he was about to cry in the end at that really broke my heart. ;:;
I might be the only one thinking this, but they all seem so extra passionate about their singing in this performance, not that they aren't normally, but it just surprised that even Yunho who's in charge of the bass during harmonizing even sang louder that he usually does.
.. I've been quite neutral during this whole trial period for all of us, but after this performance it just hit me that i'll probably never be able to find another group who sets the standard so high nor find another group that'll affect me by just singing like they do.

aaaaaawkward,, just saying. I don't know if it's just me but Yunho and Changmin looked like they were gonna cry. Even Junsu looked somewhat emotional. Performance-wise, I think Jaejoong did a good job. I also like the harmonization in the beginning with Yoochun. It was a flawless performance and all but something's missing to be honest. Sigh, what a bittersweet perf...
Well Yunho and Changmin looked kinda sad through it all, to me anyway. Changmin's vocals were more somber than usual as well. When the camera panned on all of them at the end it made ME wanna cry for some reason.
As much as I love "Stand by U", I hate this right now because I can't tell if they look sad to fit the song or if they look sad because they -are- sad.
Call me stupid or blind or naive, whatever, but I will stand by these boys and believe their bond is stronger than whatever SM throws at them regardless of all the 'signs' everyone else sees of them 'fighting', until the very very end. Art and friendships like them doesn't just break.
Anyways, boys sound gorgeous. Rofl Min still has that awkward cool look at the end. Yunho looks bad, but it just reminded me of how bad he looked during their Doushite performances...Stand By Me's a sad song, course they'll look sad. Really I can't wait to see them start performing Break Out just to see what new expressions people will pick out.

I love the song, but can't help having mixed feelings.
I'm not referring to their expressions, the spaces or anything else, but rather the atmosphere. I've heard them sing their hearts out, but in this case, I'm really not feeling it all that much, especially when it comes to Changmin. They mostly seem kind of, I don't know, uncomfortable.
the only other time i loved a perf of this song was during their tokyo dome concert during the blue-lit stadium. analyzing body posture/body language/facial expressions aside, it's sad to watch this now compared to before :[
