Seems like there might be plans for another season of this as they asked Samuel in the last video who he'd recommend for season 2 (his answer was Seventeen's Hoshi). Who would you like to see in a new season, Omona? It's interesting to note that for season 1 all the contestants are artists/from groups that are still quite underrated or not yet hugely popular.

According to multiple industry sources, the new boy group debuting early next year will be composed of five members with an average age of 17. The boy group will reportedly have a different concept to their agency seniors BTS.
Big Hit Entertainment’s CEO Bang Shi Hyuk has helped BTS rise as international stars after paying special attention to the group’s album production, music videos, performances, stage direction, and other details relating to music. The industry insiders have judged that these know-hows will naturally sink into the new rookie group as well.
On November 27, the agency confirmed plans for the debut of their new boy group. This upcoming group will be the first group in six years to debut under Big Hit Entertainment, following BTS’s debut in 2013.

On November 29, the Cheongju District Prosecutors’ Office announced it is considering taking legal proceedings to extradite the rapper’s parents who are suspected of hiding overseas after borrowing a large sum of money from acquaintances.
A source from the prosecution said, “The couple (in New Zealand) did not clearly express their intention to enter the country voluntarily. Even if the New Zealand authorities ask for the extradition of them, it will take some time for the actual repatriation as the local judicial authorities still have a judgment process.”

Recently, SBS Plus held a press conference for their new variety program, “Bipedal Life” (literal translation).
The variety show will be Kim Ki Bum‘s first domestic activity in six years after starring in the 2012 tvN drama, “I Love Lee Tae Ri.” Kim Ki Bum revealed, “I had a lot of worries because I haven’t filmed variety shows for a really long time. However, I liked that I could deliver some positive energy because the purpose of the program is about earning hope through walking.” He also added that that he chose “Two Feet Life” with the hopes of connecting with and getting closer to Korea.

On November 29, SBS funE reported that Ma Dong Seok’s father (85) had siphoned off 500 million won (approximately $445,000) worth of retirement funds from the alleged victim (83). According to the report, the victim had been a peer from his father’s high school days.
The report stated that the victim reunited with Ma Dong Seok’s father in 2010 and had considered him a friend. His father allegedly told the victim, “Don’t even trust your relatives in your old age. When you leave this earth, I’ll arrange everything,” and soon received the entirety of the victim’s life savings.

tvN’s “Encounter” is off to a fantastic start!
Starring Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum, “Encounter” is about two people of vastly different backgrounds and personalities who begin a whirlwind romance after a chance meeting in Cuba.
Its premiere on November 28 brought in viewership ratings of 8.7 percent with a peak at 10.1 percent according to Nielsen Korea.

Onew is set to drop his first solo mini album on December 5 at 6 p.m. KST.
Titled “VOICE,” the album will feature seven lyrical tracks that showcase Onew’s warm vocal color. The title track “Blue” is a R&B track that gives off an old-pop, jazz feeling.
