BLACKPINK will be taking their first steps toward their debut in Japan.
The four-member girl group will be holding their debut showcase at Budokan (also known as Nippon Budokan) on July 20.
It’s quite notable for a rookie foreign artist to hold a showcase at Budokan, a well-known arena in Tokyo. Furthermore, BLACKPINK’s showcase will receive support from a large Japanese fashion event called Tokyo Girls Collection.
Following their showcase in July, BLACKPINK’s debut album will be released on August 9.
Since debut, the YG girl group has racked up a number of impressive records for music video views, overseas and domestic music charts, and more.

SISTAR in Macau for M/V Filming!

SISTAR is getting ready to make your summer even better with their next comeback!
On May 17, SISTAR’s agency Starship Entertainment confirmed that the four members traveled to Macau that day to film their new music video. The MV shoot will begin today (May 18), and they will be returning to Korea by May 21. Dasom is expected to return slightly earlier than the other members to take part in the filming of the SBS drama “Sister Is Alive.”
SISTAR’s comeback date is slated for May 31, and they’ve so far released a teaser image to get us even more excited. Their new title track has been composed by Black Eyed Pilseung (the duo that was also behind their songs “Touch My Body” and “I Like That”), and their new release is in the final stages of production.

While Psy won’t reach the stratospheric heights of “Gangnam Style” again, there’s still a big market for the star’s brand of tongue-in-cheek pop. He returned this month after a two-year absence with new album 8th 4 x 2 = 8, which saw double A-sides “I Luv It” (with its old-school Technotronic “Spin That Wheel” samples) and the football-terrace shoutiness of “New Face”. Both sport great MVs (music videos), but neither do very much musically.
On the other hand, BewhY’s string-and-brass laden “Deja Vu” takes you on a dramatic hip hop trip. The rapper is going from strength to strength, and this is already high on our list of best releases of 2017 so far. Elsewhere, one of the brightest young female indie singers, SURAN, released the pretty “If I Get Drunk Tonight” (featuring Changmo), which took her to the top of the charts, and girl group Lovelyz released with the frothy “Now, We”, securing their first music show win since debuting nearly three years ago.

What do you think, Omona? Do you agree? So far May has been slow with the releases due to the presidential elections but what other songs do you think should have made the list?
Also, seeing as this type of article mentions a lot of artists and music videos/songs, should I add everyone in the tags or just the ones that they actually talk about? Because if I add everything that will be A LOT of tags and I'm not sure if it's relevant.
