November 17th Taiwanese entertainment site, Liberty Times Net, posted an interview with Taemin which mentioned that he would hold his first solo tour in North America. This portion of the interview was later deleted from the site and has not been addressed by SM but OP has her fingers crossed.

Me neither. I couldn't justify buying a concert ticket and a plane ticket. Hopefully next time around they'll hit Chicago.

the north american tour rumor is so perplexing to me because he hasn't even had an actual asian tour yet - ala what taeyeon did with persona. but there are other rumors that both jonghyun and him are going to be doing more solo concerts throughout japan at least early next year.

but it's not like it'd be actual tour if he did anyway, lol. probably like two stops. he'll be busy with shinee stuff anyway.

I hope America also gets some stages, everyone deserves to enjoy a bit of Lee Taemin <3 I went to his Tokyo concert last Sunday and it was a soul cleansing experience~ I almost cried seeing the kid I’ve been cheering on since 10 years ago so grown up, doing such a great job alone ;-;
