Autumn is here and this time of the year is a great opportunity to change up what you're wearing. Need some inspiration for a wardrobe refresh? Like to see famous people wear something really ugly that probably costs the same amount as your student loan debt? Want to see a bunch of people in hats? This is the post for you!

Here are some examples of my favourite idol fashion so far this autumn and the best time to wear it for someone like us who isn't photographed every time we go the airport!





Jungkook is wearing a black leather jacket, washed black jeans with biker detail and black hiking boots.
Ideal for: Days when the weather is changeable as it's easily layered, low key days when you're not feeling bright colours,
pretending you ride a motorbike.



Mina is wearing an oatmeal cable knit jumper, tie waist denim midi skirt,
black ankle socks and studded black flat shoes.
Ideal for: Attending a matinee orchestra performance, going to a flower exhibit, taking pictures of yourself
in front of paintings in art galleries.



Taehyung is wearing a patchwork cardigan, wide leg trousers, check scarf and grey handheld bag.
Ideal for: keeping your grandma cosy, having the confidence to put comfort above anything else.



Sana is wearing a fluffy pink roll neck jumper and a grey New York Yankees beret.
Ideal for: nailing the feminine sporty look, keeping warm but still representing your team, angering the type of man who thinks women don't like sport.



RM is wearing a black slogan jumper, black duffel coat, black hold all and tan hiking boots.
Ideal for: An edgier take on a casual lunch outfit, letting your parents know you're
still an angsty teenager when you come to visit on the weekend.



Hyejeong is wearing sports striped straight leg trousers, a white top, long navy coat, black shoulder bag and flat mules.
Ideal for: Lunch meetings, when you need an outfit to do both smart and casual throughout the day.



Jaebum is wearing a white graphic t-shirt, denim jacket and a dark grey check double button coat.
Ideal for: Days when you're going to be inside and outside a lot, finding ways to keep wearing your summer clothes throughout winter.



Jinyoung is wearing a black-striped white crew neck jumper, mid blue straight leg jeans
and a leather over the shoulder bag.
Ideal for: when you're feeling a bit 90's, when it's still a bit mild outside, going to study in the library.



Mina is wearing a slogan roll neck sweater, black skinny jeans, black double breasted coat and gold studded clutch bag.
Ideal for: The office, going out to dinner somewhere nice.



Jooeun is wearing a black striped top, red tartan skirt and dark blue denim jacket.
Ideal for: Casual everyday wear, people whose wardrobe is half plaid.



Kai is wearing an oversized tan check coat and round frame glasses.
Ideal for: smart casual events, looking like a hot geography professor.



Mark is wearing a check blazer with gold button detail, a pink t-shirt, black trousers and gold-rimmed glasses.
Ideal for: Having lunch somewhere nice on short notice, when your work has a dress down Friday that isn't really a dress down Friday.



Jeongyeon is wearing a black pom pom beanie, grey ripped skinny jeans, a bright red shirt and matching lipstick.
Ideal for: Hanging out with friends, uni classes, winter city breaks with lots of walking.



Seulgi is wearing black shirt and trousers, black slim line coat and gold hoop earrings.
Ideal for: Going out for coffee, putting a little personality into a strict office dress code.



Tzuyu is wearing a white roll neck jumper and longline blue check coat.
Ideal for: Putting a bright twist on this seasons check coat, Christmas shopping outfit for fancy department stores.



Chaeyoung is wearing a pale blue Varsity bomber jacket and long silver earrings.
Ideal for: Casual date nights, being the ultimate seasonal transition jacket.



Jiu is wearing a black wide-brimmed hat, dark red shirt and round frame glasses.
Ideal for: Shopping in the city, writing your new best seller in your local cafe.



Mina is wearing a purple velvet polo neck top, leather look a-line skirt and black over the knee socks.
Ideal for: Warmer autumn nights, rocking velvet without it being too Christmas-y, giving off a modern day witch vibe.



Seulgi is wearing a purple velvet tracksuit and lace up biker boots.
Ideal for: Speed walking around the shopping mall with all the other elderly people.



Kyulkyung is wearing a black and white striped frill top, cream sweater, black leather
skirt, red ankle socks, black boots and statement clutch.
Ideal for: Coffee shop dates, shopping indoors.



Euijin is wearing an oversized leather jacket, black cord baker's boy hat, cropped cobalt blue sweater and silver cross earrings.
Ideal for: Travelling back in time to the 90s.



Naeun is wearing side striped sports leggings, a lace up black hoodie and a massively oversized green bomber jacket.
Ideal for: Going between the gym and the city, keeping your arms really really warm.



Sejeong is wearing a burgundy plaid shirt, denim asymmetrical hem skirt and block heel sandals.
Ideal for: Days when you don't know if you're going somewhere casual or somewhere a bit nicer.



Doyoung is wearing a black baker's boy hat, oversized blue striped shirt and black trousers.
Ideal for: when it's still not quite cold outside, working in a trendy office.



Chaeyoung is wearing an orange sweater, round glasses, Chelsea boots and pale blue turn-up jeans.
Ideal for: Days spent in the library, an autumn outfit for people who like pastel colours.



Sana is wearing a grey check jacket and pale pink teddy coat.
Ideal for: Days where it's freezing out, people who have too many coats.



Jooheon is wearing black cargo pants, red socks, black lace up boots, a ripped hem jumper and a leather clutch.
Ideal for: Shopping in the cooler parts of town, dressing like you're in a stylish apocalypse movie, probably not
ideal for going to visit your older relatives who'll ask you why you paid for a jumper that's falling apart.



Seolhyun is wearing a black top, black skinny jeans, black blazer, patent lace up boots with buckles and a small brown shoulder bag.
Ideal for: A more casual office environment, going all black while still looking smart.



Taehyung is wearing a black beret, oversized grey check co ords and jacket.
Ideal for: escaping this world by changing your lifeform into a grey hemp bag.



Hana is wearing a white blouse, mint wrap around skirt and dark red buckled mules.
Ideal for: Dates, dinners in a nice restaurant, mixing your spring and autumn wardrobe.



J-Hope is wearing an oversized tobacco boucle coat, black t-shirt, side striped black sweatpants,
white trainers, black beanie and pink tinted sunglasses.
Ideal for: Still looking stylish while being comfortable enough to shop or travel all day,
looking like you made an effort to dress yourself for class when really you're still wearing loungewear.

But OP idk is it just me but I'm not seeing Taehyung's picture?

I love the looks by Mina (tho I'd never that skirt but I love the knit jumper and the description is me to the T lol), Jinyoung (he truly personifies the 90s casual look with 90% of his outfits and his description fits him so well lol), Euijin and Naeun (love the jackets!)

I like most of the winter jackets too, reminds me I need to get myself a warm one for the upcoming winter 😷

My faves would be Jeongyeon, Sejeong and Seolhyun's outfits - I like the colour combination in Sana's second one alot too.

A minimalist 80s/90s fusion has been trendy the past two years but meh I can't get into it. It ages people so much idk. I'd call my own style minimalist too (despite my love for crazy prints and colours as I have no confidence to pull that off in real life), but a bit more modern than said trend. Something like what Seolhyun is wearing here I think looks AMAZING, but whenever I try an ensemble like that myself I just feel... like I need more colour lmao

Yeah going all black like Seol doesnt always work, I think its easy when you have the opportunity to wear layers and have contrasting shapes (the coat) and textures with wearing patent boots instead of leather etc

I used to have major body issues and was always super scared of wearing skirts and dresses because I feared looking like shit, but I've come to love these pieces of clothing so much in the past years. Skirts + chunky heels make me feel like I can step on any man and then some, haha.

A tip for getting over your discomfort might be to go into a bunch of stores and just try out a whole lot of skirts. If you find one that you like, get it and start wearing it around the house by yourself! That way, you can get used to it and get over your reservations a little :)

Just google teddy coat. I would also suggest looking at asos, topshop, boohoo, and zara. I know I've seen a teddy coat in pink on one of those sites. In the US at least it will be the perfect weekend to buy because of black friday sales

I think seolhyun is closest to what I would rock day to day lmao most of my wardrobe is black and grey. but I love naeun's outfit -- streetwear that still looks chic and I actually have a coat the same color and length as j hope's but it's not as full like volume wise. I love his coat though, I'm a coat collector so I want it lol

chaeyoung has one of my fav styles for idols, it's v similar to my own but she looks miles better lmao seulgi too, although that velvet tracksuit is a choice only she could pull off. i've also been loving yeri's style lately! generally i'm more into men's fashion in kpop, there's a lot more layers and fun combinations (hyungwon/minhyuk/taeyong r my faves). minimalism sorta bores me.

OP I really like this post and I actually loved some of these outfits when I first saw them, I think our styles might be a bit alike!

I really love the Korean style of simply wearing a cute/more out there skirt with a simple top and some (over-the-knee) boots but it's simply too cold for me to wear lol also wearing sneakers or other flat shoes in the winter too. I need the warmth!!
