Due to BEAST Kikwang mentioning Gayoon’s ankles on his recent special MC appearance on “Witch Hunt” (Kikwang on Witch Hunt: "Gayoon's ankles are really white and small. It looks like it'll break if we hit them.") on May 16th, Gayoon’s “nano-ankles” are once again the center of attention.

Shortly after the broadcast of “Witch Hunt” pictures of Gayoon’s ankles compared to her members’ started circling the internet.

The pictures are from the MBC “Korean Music Wave in Bangkok” held in April of 2012 and cleary showly how tiny her ankles are compared to the other members of 4minute. This physical attribute has given her the nickname “nano-ankle”.

Gayoon is also known for her tiny feet. She wears between a shoe size of 210-220 millimeters Korea size which is around a female size 4-5 in the U.S!

Group EXO Reaches Highest Ranking On U.S. Billboard 200 Chart For Male Korean Artists
Group EXO has entered the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart, becoming the highest ranked Korean male artist.
EXO's new album "Overdose" was released on May 7 and the boy group quickly made their way to number 129 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart on May 16.
The group's list of achievements doesn't stop there.
EXO-K has also ranked number 1 on the Billboard Heat Seekers chart and number 2 on the world albums chart.
Although EXO-M wasn't able to make it on the Billboard 200, their all-Mandarin rendition of the "Overdose" EP ranked No. 8 on Billboard's Heatseekers Album chart and hit No. 5 on the World Albums chart, according to the U.S. Billboard.
News of the group's recent Billboard chart achievement was especially surprising because EXO hadn't done any special promotions in the U.S. regarding their new album.
The K-Pop group has been keeping busy, preparing for their upcoming comback performances on MBC and SBS this weekend.
Disappointing news has reached fans as the group's highly anticipated reality show "xoxo EXO" will not be airing as a live broadcast on May 16 as planned, according to Allkpop.
Instead, pre-recorded footage will be aired due to EXO's current conflict involving member Kris.
"Due to the cast's circumstances, 'xoxo EXO,' which is set to air today, will not be a live broadcast and will show footage from their fan event in Japan instead," stated an Mnet rep.
The second episode of the show is set to take viewers behind the scenes and backstage of EXO's first fan event in Japan, "EXO Greeting Party in Japan Hello!," which reportedly attracted a total of 100,000 fans at Saitama Super Arena on April 11 to 13.
The upcoming episode will show the members of EXO throwing a party for Sehun as well as Suho's self-camera action on the plane.

Fly to the Sky recently addressed hilarious rumors about their supposed breakup as a couple instead of a duo.

On May 18, MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News” interviewed Fly to the Sky, who had reunited and made their comeback with their ninth album as of recently.

On that day, Hwanhee stated, “While we were doing our individual activities, we often discussed the possibility of releasing a special album as Fly to the Sky. But instead of that, there were rumors of our breakup.”

He continued, “There were plenty of rumors circulating back then, but among them there was even the rumor that Brian and I had dated and broken up.” He then responded jokingly in a heated fashion saying, “I like women!” causing everyone to laugh.

In related news, Fly to the Sky will be opening their concert “Continuum” on June 6 – 8 in celebration of their 15th anniversary since their debut at the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall.

B1A4 Baro speaks about acting, God's Gift, what B1A4 wants to do

B1A4 Baro’s filmography is interesting. Starting from drama cable tvN’s entertainment legend ‘Reply 1994’ to the SBS’ ‘God’s Gift—14 Days’ that had opened a new leaf out of its’ genre, which were works that had captured viewer’s interest and expectation, in those two works Baro was entrusted with characters who stood out against the others.

In ‘Reply’ Baro was acting as Bing Geurae, a silent medical student who came from Chungbuk who has fresh and innocent charm, while in ‘God’s Gift’ he was Kim Younggyu who has a 6 years old mentality while he was in his late-teens, a character that might make actors with a lot of experience face difficulties while acting. Now Baro who had done those works is not afraid of the next ‘challenge’ he would get and from the ‘growth’ that was shown clearly, one could see that it was most probably because of his positive way of thinking. We have compiled a never before shown behind story through an interview with Baro.

We want to do music activities without rest. I don’t know the exact time but maybe about May 10th we will do a reality program while going on a K-POP performance. On June there is Brazil World Cup so I think B1A4 will do activities after? (Shall we expect a change in B1A4 in term of music?) It’s good if you do. Personally I really like this song we’re doing. We have thought about the album concept and the lyrics are made according to that, the song is in the work and the album feel is good, fresh even. Other than that is secret!

5urprise Plan to Release an Album

Known to be Korea’s first and only acting idol group, 5urprise‘s agency recently revealed its plans for the group to release a music album! Although idol members venturing in to acting may be common, actors venturing in to the idol music industry are quite rare. Yet, as 5urprise has indeed been a surprise to many, it seems like the acting idol group ‘s agency may have many more special plans up their sleeves.

Have debuted back in September of last year, 5urprise comprised of members Seo Kang Joon, Yoo Il, Gong Myung, Kang Tae Oh, and Lee Tae Hwan. Recently, many have recognized member Seo Kang Joon for his past role in MBC‘s “Cunning Single Lady,” as well as his current participation in SBS‘ reality show, “Roommate.” Furthermore, besides Seo Kang Joon, the other members of 5urprise have also been active with their drama and movie schedules.

However, as idols must be prepared for the acting world, actors must also be well prepared and trained to be singers. Thus, 5urprise’s agency revealed, “We are currently working on the album’s concept, release, and many other things in part for the 5urprise’s music debut. As we are busy placing the members in to vocal training, we hope that the members will be able to show their diverse charms.”

Successful sibling rookie duo Akdong Musician recently revealed why they decided on making their debut with YG Entertainment. According to the competition rules for audition show “K-Pop Star Season 2,” the winner of the show could choose to debut with SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment or JYP Entertainment.

The sibling artists told TV Report in an interview, “First off, we made our decision without any other motives. We reflected back on the entire audition process. YG gave us the most freedom. He heard us out as artists and allowed us to experience for ourselves what that would look like.”

About SM and JYP Entertainment, they said, “Both companies taught us well. But YG didn’t try to teach us anything. Instead they told us, ‘You guys decide for yourselves, do something that’s fun for you.’ We liked that about them. They didn’t make us do any training. We used to listen to Epik High songs since way back, but when we met them it was comfortable and really fun. We liked that kind of environment.”

In More WTF May News: Jellyfish Entertainment to Take Legal Action Over VIXX’s Teaser Leak

In the midst of idol group VIXX’s preparations for a comeback at the end of May, their new album teaser image and audio were leaked.

On May 19, VIXX’s agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, revealed the group’s comeback timer teaser image through their official website. However, at the same time, posts titled “VIXX Comeback Teaser Image” and “VIXX 1-Minute Audio Teaser” were uploaded onto various online community sites, leaking their new concept image and audio file.

The group’s agency is currently taking measures to stop the posting of the image and audio teaser, but it has already spread throughout Youtube and other SNS.

Jellyfish Entertainment stated, “We are trying to determine how to delete the leaked images and videos as well as identify the source of the illegal leak. We plan to request a legal investigation into the situation and firmly demand strict liability from the perpetrator.”
