On January 12th, the ladies o Girls’ Generation ppeared on the “Guerilla Date” segment ofKBS2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘.

Just like all the other Guerill Dates, the ladies walked on the streets of Hongdae with a large crowd following them. Four of the members includin YoonA, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, n Taeyeon ere sent on a special guerilla team mission and the other 5 members remained with the crowd.

After this, three male fans were picked out of the crowd and asked to select their favorite members. One guy picke Jessica, the other picke Seohyun, and the last picke Sunny hich cause Yuri ndTiffany hug ach other for not getting picked.

Lee Hyori Explains Her Comments on Marriage at Uhm Tae Woong’s Wedding

Lee Hyori had previously made some comments about marriage during Uhm Tae Woong‘s wedding, which has become quite a hot topic.

On January 10, Lee Hyori tweeted, “What do you mean I was being sarcastic? I was just saying that you can have a great life even if you don’t get married,” and “Why is it that female celebrities get questioned about marriage all the time as soon as they turn 30? I was so sick of those questions that I was just joking around a little so don’t be like that.”

Previously, on January 9, Lee Hyori attended Uhm Tae Woong’s wedding. During the photo op, the reporters threw out some questions about her marriage plans. Hyori replied, “Even the President-elect [Park Geun Hye] is not married just yet, so I don’t feel the need to marry fast.”

That particular comment was criticized by some netizens. Netizens accused Lee Hyori of being cynical toward Park Geun Hye, who was recently won the presidential race. Although Hyori did not reveal who she voted for, many assumed that she supported Moon Jae In, who ran against Park Geun Hye.

Netizens who came across this tweet commented, “I bet Hyori is stressed for having to explain this,” “I guess this is why having a public relationship is hard,” “I bet she will get married some day,” and more.

Hoon and Kiseop Involved in Twitter Plagiarism

Sometime last year on Twitter, U-Kiss' Hoon started saying "HoonMorning" and "HoonNight" to Kiss Mes as a play on Good Morning and Good Night using his name. I found it really cute and original, but what did I find one day last month? None other than bandmate Kiseop saying "Kiseop morning," which quickly turning into "Seop morning" and "Seop night." Being a writer and English major I couldn't help but cry, "Plagiarism! Plag! Iar! Ism! Kiseop, you should know better," over and over again. Now just as I was lamenting this to a friend earlier that month, Hoon pops up on my timeline making a copyright claim against Kiseop. (Not that Hoon's claim has stopped Kiseop.) Check out the tweets below to see how the conversation between the two bandmates went down. (I wouldn't expect to see any bad blood between these two because of the plagiarism. ^__^)

How to Be a Successful Guest on Running Man

I don’t think it needs to be said that Running Man is an exceptional variety show. From the ridiculous and seemingly impossible missions to the lovable cast, the show has an irresistible charm that manages to grab viewers from all demographics. It’s my absolute favorite variety show to tune into these days, and it’s also probably one of the reasons why I stick to the world of K-pop in its less glorifying cycles.

However, as a fan, even I have to admit that Running Man is not the most consistent program out there. The episodes vary greatly, capriciously shifting from the truly spectacular to the undeniably mediocre. While the show is often renowned for its comical and epic happenings, the program also tends to drag, leading to some lackluster and boring minutes of so-called entertainment.

Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae to rock the stage in Cannes

The reigning hip-hop power couple Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae will be performing at one of the largest music conferences in the world: the “Midem: Marche International du Disque et de l’Edition Musicale” in Cannes, France.

The husband-and-wife team will perform on the mainstage of the Midem Festival on Jan. 27, along with other K-pop artists including rapper Bizzy, hip-hop group Block B and the rookie singer-songwriter Juniel.

Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae, who married in 2007, are both veterans in the hip-hop industry and often perform together onstage. Yoon Mirae, who is known as the Queen of Soul, debuted at the age of 16 with the hip-hop/R&B group Uptown.

Hip-hop artist Tiger JK moved to Los Angeles with his family at age 12, and after witnessing the tension between Korean-Americans and African-Americans during the L.A. riots, he was inspired to bridge the cultural gap through his beats and has been in the rap game ever since.

The second part of the music video, according to SPEED's agency, is 15 minutes that intensely and realistically captures the confrontation during the time. SPEED's "Sad Promise" as well as two new songs "It's over" and "Heartbreaking Painful Love".
