SECRET‘s Sunhwa recently uploaded multiple photos of herself on her mini homepage with the caption, “Guess what this is?“.

Sunhwa sported white shorts with a purple tube top and red platform heels in the first two photos, revealing her toned legs and hourglass figure(?). In the second pair of photos, Sunhwa donned blue shorts with a striped midriff-baring top which revealed her toned abs(?).

Upon seeing the photos netizens commented, “You’re so skinny“, “Your body confidence is so overflowing nowadays“, “You’re so pretty“, and “Are you taking a swimsuit photoshoot?”.

Son Dam Bi postpones her comeback to mid July

Son Dam Bi who had plans on making a comeback later this month has postponed her return to mid July.

She is currently playing a role in MBC‘s hit drama ‘Light and Shadows‘ and was planning on making a comeback immediately after the show was to come to an end on May 15th, however, the program has decided to add on a few more episodes and her comeback has unfortunately been pushed back as a result.

A representative who is participating in the production of her new album shared the news and added, “We think that her comeback will most likely take place sometime around mid-July once her drama comes to an end.”

This will be Son Dam Bi’s first comeback in a long while, after releasing “dB Rider” back in September of 2010. Despite her busy filming schedule, she has reportedly made the extra time to focus on preparations for her new album.

For her upcoming new release, Son Dam Bi has worked with a number of hit producers including Brave Brothers who wrote her previous hits “Crazy” and “Saturday Night“.

Lee Soo-hyeok as Kim Seon-ho, Kim Yeong-kwang as Han Seung-woo and Shin Min-chul will be starring as Yeo Min-seung. Their average height is 186 cm. a-pink announces comeback with first full length album une annee

Girl group A Pink will be making their comeback with the release of their first full-length album ‘UNE ANNEE‘ on May 9th.

A Pink released their debut album ‘Seven Springs of A Pink‘ back in April of last year. Their songs ‘I Don’t Know,’ ‘It Girl‘ and ‘My My‘ were quite popular and made the top rankings on various music sites. In particular, the group was honored as rookies of the year at some of the main music awards ceremonies like the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), Golden Disk Awards and Seoul Music Awards last year and were crowned the best newcomers of 2011.

UNE ANNEE consists of 9 songs, all of a variety of genres, including the title song ‘Hush‘ and the previously released song ‘April 19th‘ that was written to show their appreciation for their fans. Fans are already showing heated responses to this album that showcases a new and more mature side of A Pink.

Additionally, fans are focusing their attention to the fact that this album of A Pink’s was composed by top producers Shinsadong Tiger and Kim Gun Woo; it also includes the participation of up and coming producers Rado, Hyoo Woo and Beom-ee Nang-ee.

According to their agency A Cube Entertainment, A Pink plans to release one by one their album’s concept, starting with their jacket image at 10:00 AM on May 3rd, through their official homepage.

Korea's animation industry and Pororo's impact

South Korea's animation industry has hardly seen any downtime, keeping rigorously busy for over two decades now. For many in the industry, putting the finishing touches on an episode of a world-famous cartoon is all in a day's work.

"The simplified version of the animation process for studios in the United States is pretty simple," said Alex Ha, a 31-year-old native of San Francisco, California. "The main directors will draw the main drawings and everything else in between is drawn by the Korean directors and Korean animators."

Ha is the lead modeler in the 3-D department at Rough Draft Studios inc., located near Seoul's French district called Seorae Maeul. The company started in Van Nuys, California, back in 1991 and shortly thereafter moved out to Korea to establish itself as a forerunner in the Korean animation industry. With a sister studio still operating in Van Nuys, Rough Draft is one of the Korean studios in constant communication with all of the major animation and motion picture studios in the U.S.

PLEDIS CEO CONFIRMS AS GRADUATION (AND NO, IT WON'T BE RAINA)

After School is said to make their Korean comeback this coming June, and it looks like it will be the last promotion for one certain member. after the Graduation of Bekah last year and Soyoung in 2009, looks like After School will undergo another graduation this coming year.

In an article that was released earlier today Pledis Boss Han Sung Soo said “We’re in the midst of discussing the next member that will be graduated”

Pledis didn’t name a specific member but it did say there will be someone graduating. Pledis Boss said “for Bekah’s case, the company gave her a few months of time to reconsider but she still decided to leave the group and graduate.”

As Orange Caramel will bedebuting in Japan, Nana, Raina and Lizzy are for sure not going to graduate. This leaves us with the 5 other members (Kahi, Jung-A, Juyeon, Uie and E-Young), though nobody is confirmed to be leaving the group just yet.

Playgirlz commented: ”So when they announce a new member we should be prepared and expect for a graduation.” “I’m sure Uie will not graduate as she makes a lot of money for pledis, but i hope none will graduate.” “Pledis said if the member reconsiders, she may not graduate.” and “Playgirlz! Let’s make their next comeback a hit! On May 21st at 6PM PST, Google will be hosting a concert at their Mountain View, California headquarters featuring performances by K-Pop’s reigning stars including SM Entertainment‘s Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, Super Junior as well as KARA, SISTAR, MBLAQ, B2ST, and the Wonder Girls. This event will broadcast through MBC and Google.

This will be the first time that a K-Pop concert will broadcast live on not only a Korean channel, but through a major internet portal like Google, evidencing the rise of K-Pop’s popularity all over the world.

A representative of the event stated, “After hearing the news that Korean artists will be performing at the Google headquarters, curiosity has peaked even among the local event organizers. I think that previous performances by Korean artists were targeted towards Korean-Americans or the Koreans living abroad, but this time its appeal will spread to all fans of pop music in the US.”

In related news, SM artists will also be performing for their ‘SMTown Live‘ concert at the Honda Center in California on May 20th.
