Lately, Kim HyunA's fans were all surprised and bothered after the exposure of a "fancam" video of herself wearing a cute wedding dress. A lot were speculating that it might be used for a commercial or she might be modeling for a magazine photoshoot with a Wedding theme.

Thousands of Chinese Fans Go to Korea for Super Show III

This afternoon, the departure hall of Shanghai’s Pudong international airport welcomed nearly 200 people who were in a tour group going to Korea, what was different was that the members of this group were mostly young girls born in the 1980s and 1990s. According to authorities on 10 August there were three to four similar groups that had already departed.

The Korean group Super Junior, which has taken Asia by storm, will hold concerts in Seoul on 14 and 15 August, at the time Chinese fan groups will join with Korean fan groups to cheer for and provide support for Super Junior. KARA's Japanese BEST OF album will be released on September 29th! The album will include 12 tracks in total, including hits like Mr., Lupin, Pretty Girl, Honey, and Wanna! The album will be released in two different versions: 1) CD only and 2) CD+DVD. The content of the DVD will include footages from the Mister release event on August 14.

As well, KARA's second Japanese single will be released this fall! More info to be released so stay tuned.

Last but not least, there was a poll conducted by Universal Music to determine which KARA song is more popular and here's the result:

After School Jooyeon Injures her Ankle

It was revealed that After School’s Jooyeon hurt her ankle from a cart accident.

On the 14th, her entertainment company informed that Jooyeon got into a cart accident at the airport while she was returning from Singapore. As a result of this accident, Jooyeon hurt her left ankle.

Top Korean actor Jang Dong-gun's first Hollywood debut film "The Warrior's Way" will open in theaters in North America on December 3, according to the film's investor Wellmade Star M on Friday.

"The Warrior's Way", helmed and written by Lee Seung-moo, is a Western fantasy film based on a swordsman named Yang, played by Jang, who flees to a forgotten American town in the west to escape his bloody past but gets caught up in a battle with a local group of bandits.

The movie cast also includes some of Hollywood's biggest names including Kate Bosworth, Danny Huston and Geoffrey Rush.

American firm Relativity Media, co-producers of Hollywood blockbusters "Salt" (2010) starring Angelina Jolie and "Public Enemies" (2009) starring Johnny Depp, had bought the distribution rights for "The Warrior's Way" in the U.S. in July.

Wellmade Star M is a Korea-based talent management agency in charge of the careers of actors Ha Ji-won and Kim Nam-joo but the firm ventured into television and movie production starting 2007 through "The Warrior's Way", where they have invested 10 million dollars.

Top Korean actor Lee Byeong-Heon says filming for the sequel to Hollywood action flick "G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra" is expected to start early next year.

Lee made the remark on Wednesday during a press screening and press conference for his movie "I Saw the Devil", critically acclaimed director Kim Ji-woon's latest pic co-starring actor Choi Min-sik from smash hit Korean pic "Old Boy".

"We were supposed to go into shoot around winter of this year but I had heard it would be delayed to summer of next year over problems with the scenario. But then I heard that the scenario is done so I think we'll start early next year but I'm not sure about this either", Lee explained.

The 40-year-old actor, long considered one of the most popular actors in Korea, made his Hollywood debut through the hit action figure pic from last year, playing the role of Storm Shadow opposite actors Channing Tatum and Sienna Miller. ( Read more... )

Kara hits #1 on Japanese iTunes music video download chart

After debuting in Japan with their debut single Mister, the girls of Kara have hit success yet again, as they reached #1 on iTunes‘ music download chart!

The girls debuted at #5 on the Oricon charts, and they are also currently maintaining their #1 spot on the iTunes’ music video download chart.

Kara’s debut seems to be a success, as DSP Entertainment stated, “As you can see through the charts’ statistics, the Japanese reactions [regarding Kara's debut] are bigger than we expected.”

Meanwhile, on the 13th, Kara is going to attend the Japanese MTV’s music festival, and will also have a Mister promotional event the day after.

On August 11th through her Minihompy, JiYoon uploaded a picture of herself pretending to play the piano.

Also, JiYoon's picture dragged attention when she attached the words, "I want to play the piano well." It was revealed that the selca was shot in one of her company's practice rooms.

Early last week, a teaser was released for Paramount’s upcoming Asian remake of Ghost. The new footage clarifies an important fact about the remake that has largely slipped under the radar since the project was first announced back in May—that Nanako Matsushima will actually be playing the ghost role originally played by the late Patrick Swayze and Korean actor Seung-heon Song‘s character will be more in line with the Demi Moore part. Also, a recently released production still shows veteran actress Kirin Kiki taking over the psychic medium character originally portrayed by Whoopi Goldberg.

Plot: One day, a company manager named Nanami (Matsushima) meets and falls in love with Joon-ho (Song), who’s staying in Japan to study ceramic art. However, when the two begin their life together, Nanami is involved in a tragic incident and loses her life. Refusing to allow her soul to go to heaven, Nanami instead chooses to remain at the side of Joon-ho.

“Ghost: Mo Ichido Daishimetai” will be released in Japan on November 13, 2010.
