Three members of TVXQ (Xiah Junsu, YoungWoong Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun) will join hands with an American musician to produce a worldwide album.

It has been found that the three members will create this album with influential people of pop culture such as famous U.S. producer Timbaland and Korean composer Kim Hyung Suk.

A representative who is participating in the album production said, "A famous American music distribution company will be participating in this record project," and "It is a worldwide album but the main target will be Asia. There is a high possibility that the three members will fly to the United States sometime this month to record."

The three members' side stated, "Although it is true that they are preparing an album with Kim Hyung Suk, we will not reveal any specific plans for the moment."

The girls were recently on SBS Family Outing 2 and they were featured having a pillow fight during their vacation to KangWonDo YangGoo BaeGgop Village. The girls aimed their unhappiness at 2PM TaecYeon.

YeEun then said, “2PM has never once gave us their CDs from when their 1st album came out till now. In the States, through the broadcast shows, we heard a lot of about how they have revealed that they had like So Nyeo Shi Dae more than us. We also like Big Bang more,” provoking laughter from the other star appearances.

This boy group consists of three members: Siwoo, Yim Joon Hyuk, and Shin Nan. The trio has already been recognized in the music industry for their vocals, frequently featuring in many songs.

T.O.A.’s first single album, Because I Love You More, has entered Cyworld’s Top 10 Chart merely days since its release, very remarkable for a new group, who has yet to launch their promotional activities.

Apparently, T.O.A.’s first single has been written and composed by V.O.S. member, Kim Kyung Rok. The singer commented on the trio, “My friend Siwoo is an excellent rapper, and his skills are amazing. As my gift to wish them success on their debut, I wrote them this song.”

Rain has departed from Incheon Airport on the afternoon of the 3rd for LA where he will attend 2010 MTV Movie Awards.

Rain who comes to become the first Korean star to attend America's influential movie awards, stated his feelings about his attendance.

"I'd like to attend the ceremony with a piece of mind as if I enjoy a party, and It will seem to be a good experience to become intimate with hollywood stars."

"When I was asked to attend MTV Movie Awards ceremony, the memories of my hard work at the time of the Ninja Assassin shooting kept popping up in my head. Hopefully I'll win the award, but the fact that I'll be the ceremony means a lot to me."

Rain is the first Korean star to attend MTV Movie Awards which will be held in LA's 'Gibson Amphitheatre' on the 6th, USA. (by the time in USA)

Rain has earned a MTV Award nomination for his real performance in Ninja Assassin for Best Ass Kicking Star, and 'Angelina Jolie', 'Channing Tatum', etc. including Rain are competing for the award.

The ceremony that will be a star-studded event will broadcast live through cable channel MTV Korea for two hours from 10am on the 7th (by the time in Korea)

2NE1, the only ones to guest at the Big Bang concert.

Even just as guests, they received a lot of response from the fans. On the last day of the concert, we talked about this and that with those lovely girls in the waiting room, while they were getting ready.

"Miss CL, how are you feeling today?"

T.O.P, whose transformation into an actor was a success, says “I’ll get married when I’m over 40.”
 

T.O.P recently relayed an episode that happened with actors Cha Seung Won, Kim Seung Woo, and Kwon Sang Woo, with whom he got to act with in the movie ‘Into the Fire,’ in a recent interview with Newsen.

Being the only single man amongst the four of them, T.O.P said that he “learned a lot about stability from his seniors” and said, “All my seniors are married. While filming, we’d always eat together and sometimes have a drink or two, and those times became really comfortable. Filming this movie and meeting up with my seniors, the people around me commented the most on how I changed in my sense of stability. I thought about where I’d been influenced in this and it turned out it was from my three seniors. They all have stable families and the way they’d always call home was admirable. On the other hand I’m still young and growing so I’m still confused and my head is always busy, but I felt like I was watching complete and grown men and I think I started becoming like them subconsciously.”

K(A)T-TUN to hold first Korea concert

Japanese idol group KAT-TUN will be visiting Korea for their first-ever concert in the country in August, according to their Korean licenser Mnet Media on Friday.

A press release from Mnet said that the six-member boy band will hold their two-day concert at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on August 6 and 7, as one of the stops on their Asia Tour titled “KAT-TUN World Big Tour.”

They are scheduled to take the stages of Japan, Korea, Taiwan and several countries throughout the Asia region.

A representative from Mnet stated, “Local fans are showing great interest in the group performing in the country and they will be able to experience high quality music from KAT-TUN.”

KAT-TUN, composed of members Kazuya Kamenashi, Jin Akanishi, Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda and Yuichi Nakamura, made their debut in 2006 with their first single album “Real Face.”

They are considered to be one of the most popular boy bands in Japan and have appeared in various Japanese variety shows, dramas and commercials.

Korean film "I Saw The Devil" pre-sold to four countries

Korean thriller film "I Saw The Devil," which was pre-sold to France during Cannes film market last month, has been picked up by three more countries -- namely U.K, Taiwan and Turkey.

According to a press release by Finecut, which handles overseas sales for the pic, U.K.-based film distribution company Optimum Releasing bought the overseas rights for the Korean thriller which is still in production with noted filmmaker Kim Ji-woon directing top actors Lee Byung-hun and Choi Min-sik.

"Director Kim Jee-woon's unique and beautiful style has a powerful force that touches a deep spot in one's subconscious," explained Berenice Fugard, President of Optimum, on why he bought the film.

He went onto say that he is "convinced director Kim Ji-woon will make one of the most intense, breathtaking films that will be remembered for a long time."

Optimum had previously bought and distributed several Korean films, including "The Host" and "Chaw," in the U.K.

Taiwanese distributor Catchplay and Turkey's Bir Film also picked up the film from Finecut.

"Devil" is about a secret agent (played by Lee) plotting revenge against a serial killer (Choi) who killed his fiancee.

The film is scheduled for release in Korea this summer.

Wonder Girls celebrates 2nd win on Gaon charts with "2DT"

Asia pop sensation Wonder Girls has once again placed atop Gaon's singles chart with their new single "2 Different Tears" during the week of May 23 to 29.

According to the data released on Thursday, the female idol group held onto the No. 1 spot, scoring their second consecutive win on the chart.

The girls have been promoting the new record “2 Different Tears” in Korea, topping various music charts with their title track of the same name. They left the country on Tuesday to begin their solo tour in 20 cities in the United States starting June 4.

Making an incredible 20-spot jump from the previous week to No. 2 is the new tune "Love" by rock quartet CNBLUE and rounding out the top three singles is "HUH" by girl group 4minute.

Meanwhile, Veteran singer Lee Seung-hwan's 10th album "Dreamizer" successfully bowed into the No. 1 position on Gaon's albums chart.

Super Junior's fourth studio release "BONAMANA" fell one slot to second place, followed sequentially by MBLAQ's single album "Y" which bounced up two spots to third.

On KBS 2TV Yoo HeeYeol’s Sketchbook aired on 5th June, the Wonder Girls were guest appearances and SoHee was asked about plastic surgery. And her answer was, “I have confidence (I don’t need it).”

On Yoo HeeYeol’s question ‘If you are to do plastic surgery, which part of you do you wish to do the most?”, and her answer was, “I have confidence in myself.” Then she added, “Just joking. The part I wish to have plastic surgery on the most is….” and she pondered. Then the other members said, “Ankle” and she followed with their answer “Ankle”.

‘WGM’ producers explain the background of the Nichkhun-Victoria selection

MBC ‘We Got Married’ (producer Jung Yoon Jung, ‘WGM’) has a new virtual couple, 2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria, what is the reason that two foreigners from popular idol groups were selected?

Nichkhun and Victoria, who already filmed their first topic one day ago, had shown a pressure-free image on their first meeting, which met the expectations of the producers of ‘WGM’ for the birth of the first global couple.

‘Thai Prince’ Nichkhun had already been picked by the staff to be a possible member of ‘WGM’. Nichkhun, who is getting support from his female fans, has a strong body and a cute smile and already has many articles written about this ‘WGM’ commitment.

The producers included Victoria and her good looks in their final decision, although Nichkhun and Victoria’s opinions were also considered.

Nichkhun and Victoria’s first meeting was shot in front of Hongik University one day ago, and interested people formed crowds like clouds around them. An associate that participated in the filming said, “There has never been a more natural and casual looking couple on their first meeting until now… Nichkhun encouraged nervous Victoria.”

Currently airing on ‘WGM’ are two couples, the ‘Petite Couple’ 2AM Jokwon and Brown Eyed Girls Gain, and the ‘YongSeo Couple’ C.N.BLUE Yonghwa and SNSD Seohyun, and Nichkhun-Victoria will join them to make three couples.

During the recent filming, 2PM talked about their first loves and their first dating experiences. MC Ji Seok Jin asked Nichkhun about his ideal type, to which he replied "I like girls who are good to their parents."

Ji Seok Jin followed up with, "Then do you really not look at her face? Is it OK if she's really ugly?" Nichkhun hesitated and said, "I look at her face too," drawing laughter with his honest reply.

To this reply, the regular MCs went on the offensive with difficult questions lke, "Then if she's really beautiful, but she's really awful to her parents, what would you do?" until Nichkhun finally said with a resigned expression, "I'm not going to get married, I'm just going to live alone," making everyone burst into laughter with his witty answer.

Male songwriter gets sexually assaulted by a male comedian

Among the countless celebrity-rape cases we’ve had this year, this one’s definitely not an average one.

An unknown male songwriter B has filed in a lawsuit against a well-known male comedian A, for attempting to engage in a sexual intercourse by force.

This, for lack of a better word, gay action was done under the influence of alcohol in April at A’s house. At the time, victim B had a close relationship with A as friends, and often had late-night outings. On the day of the incident, A and B as well as few of their friends were drinking late at night. After getting heavily drunk, A and B decided to drink even more at A’s house.

B claims, “While sleeping drunk at A’s house during midnight, A took off all his clothings and removed mine after. [While both of us were naked,] A attempted to touch me sexually.”

Currently, B is meeting a therapist receiving proper mental treatment. According to reports, B is being highly suicidal, and long-term rest is very needed.

A’s representative revealed against the victim’s claims, “A was actually preparing to sue the victim B as well, however, decided to not to take any action. B even has been demanding money from A by often threatening him. A is feeling very upset toward the situation and will be defending himself strongly with valid evidence to prove that he is indeed innocent.”

Although the Korean culture is immensely intolerant of homosexuality, gay rape does not count as federal crime in Korea. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that B will win the lawsuit.
