Big Bang DaeSung reveals that special ties he has with one of the female idol group members.

He was SBS Strong Heart aired on 12th January when he was asked by MC Kang HoDong “Other than the singers in your company, do you have the contacts of other female celebrities?” and his answer was “2 of them”.

In Idol Army season 5, MBLAQ's ace Lee Joon falls into a trap of a hidden camera which made him cry.

MBLAQ did a parody of the drama "Queen Seon Deok", the concept was to complete missions given to them (while doing the parody).

This filming was a hidden camera set up for Lee Joon to fall into the trick he wouldn't have expected.

While completing the missions, like hitting some special hard gourd with the head, and shooting arrows using the feet and etc, Lee Joon went through all the difficulties without a single word of complain.

However, it all started when he received cold comments from the members he trusted. Whenever they failed at the mission they would find fault at Lee Joon, making the atmosphere very cold. To bottle up his feelings, Lee Joon would keep going to the back of the stage alone and just stare blankly at the script.

Eventually, leader Seunho made comments like "That's not the way to do it", making Joon really upset. In the very cold atmosphere, Lee Joon barely had to straighten out his feelings and continue with the filming.

Finally when the members revealed that it was a hidden camera, like a girl, Joon's tears came rolling down as he lie above Thunder's knee.

Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo has been discharged from the hospital after a 19-day stay.
Lee Minwoo met with a car accident near the Yongpyeong Ski Resort on 24th Dec last year and was sent to a hospital in Seoul on 25th Dec. He has apparently been discharged on 13th Jan and is currently recuperating at home.
A rep from Lee Minwoo’s management company told Newsen in a phone interview on 13th Jan, “Lee Minwoo has been discharged from the hospital today, and he’s currently resting at his own home.”
Lee Minwoo suffered injuries to his neck, waist and spine, and also showed signs of a concussion. He was transferred to a Seoul hospital on 25th Dec. Following that, he had to usher in the new year in the hospital and also had no choice but to cancel his concert ‘M’s Suite Room’, previously scheduled for 16th and 17th Jan at Ewha Women’s University.

Goo Hara has a surprise birthday party

For those of you who may not know, Kara’s Goo Hara’s birthday is today – and the cutie was showered with a surprise 20th birthday party at the set of KBS 2TV’s variety show, Invincible Youth!
Kara’s representative stated,

“Although today is her birthday, Goo Hara has had a busy schedule from early morning due to filming. Many of us were worried that the weather would be bad during filming, but the other ‘Invincible Girls’ members and staff warmly congratulated Goo Hara, which made her feel extremely happy.”

According to the representative, the surprise party planned for Goo Hara is set to be included at the end of the episode that was being filmed.
It has also been revealed that many fans of Goo Hara personally went to the set of Invincible Youth to wish her a happy birthday. The cast and staff had one big celebration on the set with food enough for more than 100 people.

Korean Musicians Show Their Talents at French Trade Fair

Epik High, a Korean hip-hop group, left, and the girl band f(x) will show off their talents at a music trade fair in Cannes later this month.

Two Korean pop music groups will be featured at the world’s largest music festival in France late this month, a government-run culture agency said.

The Korea Creative Content Agency said Tuesday that the hip-hop trio Epik High and the five-member girl band f(x) will perform at the “K-Pop Night” event at the Marche International du Disque et de l’Edition Musicale, or Midem, which will be held on Jan. 24-27 in Cannes. The annual event, which has been held in Cannes since 1967, is the world’s largest music industry trade fair. It aims to connect musicians and businesspeople from around the world and showcase new artists and trends.

So Nyeo Shi Dae’s trainer comes out to clarify on recent criticisms of the members’ diet.

So Nyeo Shi Dae’s personal training team Ace Team Kim JiHoon representative recently had an interview with mbn and he refutes the 800kcal diet of the girls portrayed by broadcast show as being “over” and reveals the behind-story to it.

The truth is that there was misinformation of the broadcast show and the trainer who was interviewed then was not the girls’ trainer.

He clarifies, “We did not make any of the So Nyeo Shi Dae members take a 800kcal diet for a day, and depending on their activities, there were many times we gave them more than 2000kcal for their diet.”

“But ahead of their concert, because they need to make some adjustments for it, the members get about 1200~1500kcal on the average with the 6 major nutrients included in their meals.”

And when asked about the diet and exercise methods of celebrities, Kim said, “There is actually not much different for the celebrities. They lead about the normal lifestyle like anyone, the only difference for the So Nyeo Shi Dae members is that they are idols with many activities and high energy consumption, and hence they will need diet with high calories.”

He ended with, “I want to apologise to the SNSD members and related officials. I hope that there will not be anymore misinformed reports about the girls’ diet in the future.”
