Popular group 2PM’s leader JaeBum talked about one of the most impressionable moments as a singer.

He was on KBS Star Golden Bell aired on 6th June when he revealed, “A while back, we had a fansigning at JamSil. In the midst of the fansigning, I felt that I need to go to the toilet urgently but with the fans coming up for signing continuously I couldn’t go. But I thought I had to endure it because if I go to the toilet, more fans will come and it would’nt be good.”

He followed, “So in the end, I endured all the way till the fansigning was over. And there was one last fan left. With that mood of endurement I was in, I added a P/S under my autograph ‘I really need to go to the toilet urgently. So sorry’.”

They also talked about an incident where member JunSu had ripped his pants on stage. JunSu said, “I remember I was dancing a power dance, and my pants were ripping. After the dance, I had to run down the stage covering the part which was ripping.” causing a ripple of laughter in the audience.

There have been rumors going around for a few weeks of Good Ent group Battle being no more after months of inactivity together, all starting with some fans announcing Hwichan had entered the army.

As some might know, their company has been going through financial crisis after crisis, which even had them sell contracts (ex: Dongwan) and trainees (ex: Yoobin).

And now it seems they couldn't hold Battle anymore...

I was one of the first to deny the rumors and claim we should wait for official word -but Good being what they are, we're probably never going to get news! And now it seems the inevitable has been confirmed, through pictures of Hwichan in uniform.

More rumors state Chris is now studying music in New York, and that Taehwa has a job somewhere. No word on Ryu (who was last seen in a play) and Lio.

Pop idol group Girls' Generation have been appointed goodwill ambassadors for the Global Fair and Festival Incheon 2009, Sunday.

The nine members of the group had an autograph event for 100 children from child-headed households. The participating children were chosen through an event at the fair's Web site in May celebrating the month of the family.

Girls' Generation debuted in 2007 with their first single "Into the New World'' and their latest hit was "Gee.'' The members also appear in dramas and variety shows individually ― Taeyeon, the leader, hosts a radio show, Yoona starred in "Cinderella Man,'' which ended last week, and Tiffany and Yuri emcee a music program on Saturday afternoons.

After the event, Incheon Mayor Ahn Sangsoo and the fair's Chairman Chin Daeje appointed the group as goodwill ambassadors for the Incheon Fair.

The group also presented fair tickets to the children and announced their future plans.

The Incheon Fair is a comprehensive festival with a variety of exhibitions and events. The fair will begin August 7 and continue for 80 days with the theme of "Lightening Tomorrow'' at Songdo International City, part of three Free Economic Zones in the city.

The fair has five main subjects ― Development of New City, Environment and Energy, Advanced Technology, Tourism and Leisure, and Culture and Art.

Tears fell as Super Junior member DongHae talks about late father who had fought the cancer disease for 3 years. Super Junior was on KBS morning show ‘YeoYooManMan’ where the members talked about their parents.
Especially for member DongHae, he had teared while talking about his late father who had fought the cancer disease for 3 years. He said tearing,”My father loves to sing the song ‘DongJi’ and coincidentally I had to sing the song with seonbae singer Nam Jin, but the I could not continue singing the song on the stage because I kept thinking about my father.”
Other members also talked about their parents. YeSung teared while talking about how his mother had helped him when he was realising his dreams as a singer having to go to Seoul from his hometown CheonAn everyday.
Chinese member HanKyung said, “The money that I made from activities, I would send them to my parents in China. And now their dumpling shop is going very well that they are opening the 2nd branch store.”

Meanwhile this episode of the show will air on 10th June at 9.30am.

Popular groups, SNSD and Super Junior became the first idol groups to appear on MBC 'Music Trip Lalala'.

SNSD Taeyeon, Jessica, Seohyun, Sunny, and Tiffany as well as Super Junior finished recording 'Lalala' on the 3rd.

Kim Changwan, who is part of the group, Sanwoollim, hosts 'Lalala' which is mostly a live performance music program for currently promoting main and non-mainstream groups to sing their songs. Since this program is based on an honest talk with live performance, idol groups have never appeared on the show once from the first time it aired in November and until now.

Budding entertainers still suffer unfair contracts with talent agencies, with some required to get approval from their agency for overseas travel, according to the nation’s antitrust watchdog.

The Fair Trade Commission said in a statement yesterday it ordered 20 small and midsized talent agencies to correct unfair terms or adopt “standard contract terms” until July 20. A standard contract was proposed after the actress Jang Ja-yeon killed herself in March, leaving notes that said she was maltreated by her former management agency.

Now the FTC is working to set up these standard terms by the end of this month. Amid heightened complaints about Korea’s talent agencies after Jang’s death, the FTC investigated contracts signed between the 20 companies, including YG Entertainment and Barunson Entertainment, and their 203 clients including actors and singers. The agency said it found at least one unfair term in all 203.

In this year’s investigation of the 20 smaller agencies, the FTC said it discovered contract terms that excessively infringe on client privacy or are otherwise advantageous only for the agencies, it said. For example, YG Entertainment, which now manages the idol group Big Bang, bans its entertainers from going abroad or resigning without the agency’s approval. Many agencies, including K&Entertainment, require entertainers to report their locations at all times, while a large number of agencies including DY Entertainment require entertainers to participate in events they sponsor, the FTC said.

Now this is interesting....

We all remember the controversy over TVXQ's lyrics in their song, "Mirotic", and now months later, Cassie's are speculating that in the dance to the song, the sexy stars actually spell out "skin" together.

Perhaps if it were one or two pictures, I would say that the Cassie's are spending a little too much time in front of their computer... but because they got together 5 separate pictures of 5 separate performances, I'm not sure what to think. And since, we all know SM Entertainment is full of masterminds - like how there really is a "secret code" behind TVXQ's "The Secret Code" album - I wouldn't put it past them.

Though none of this matters to me, because regardless, I still want to get underneath TVXQ's skin anyway... but what do you think: crazy Cassie's trying to find something in nothing or one of SM's genius moves?

2PM is #1 on Thailand MTV international chart and has been the top topic amongst music fans there.

The chart is a popular chart in Thailand and is tabulated according to the number of listeners’ requests per week for the song. And 2PM’s ‘Again&Again’ is up #1 on the chart for the 23rd week of 2009 (5/30~6/5) beating other musicians like The Black Eyed Peas, Eminem and Ciara.

This is not the first time the group is up #1 on the chart there. They went up with their previous hits like ‘10 points out of 10′ in April. And this is their 2nd time winning.

Before their debut, already member NichKhun was well known amongst fans amongst their Mnet ‘Hot Blood’ days, the other members were also popular amongst fans there.

2PM, “Amidst our busy schedule, we are very happy to hear this news. We hope to say our thank yous to our fans in other countries”. NichKhun also said, “We are very happy that we have went up to #1 coming to Thailand after so long. We will always work hard to be the best.”

Meanwhile the group will release the album ‘2PM Thailand Special Edition’ end-June.

Group 2NE1 will be appearing for the first time on KBS Music Bank on 12th June.

The group, unlike other artistes, is said to be performing one once a week. And 1 month into their debut, they have only performed 3 times on TV. And of the 3 times they had performed on SBS Inkiyayo and no appearance on KBS and MBS music shows. And it had many doubtful about their stand on their performance.

YG said, “The reason why that 2NE1 as a newcomer only appear on music shows once a week to focus on the quality of their performance to bring to the fans the best of their performance. For their performance on KBS Music Bank this week, the girls’ style and choreography will also be new. And for their first performance on KBS, they will also have backdancers for the first time.”

“The saying that 2NE1 is still lacking is all just rumours and misunderstanding. It’s because this is their first step, we are giving them more support.”
