So Nyeo Shi Dae Yuri has transformed into a goddess for singer K Will’s new MV ‘My tears are falling’ off his new minialbum.

A teaser video to the MV, featuring Yuri’s first crying scene since her debut, was also released on 30th March.

Yuri, “The moment when I listened to the music, my tears started flowing. I hope that my first crying scene will be a pretty one.”

Kim Ah Joong does Vogue Girl

Another one to embrace Spring’s lightness is Kim Ah Joong. The actress makes her comeback to TV next month but before that she does a little editorial work for Vogue Girl’s April issue.

Kudos to the photographer who knows better than to emphasise her facial features aka putting out her plastic make up for all to see. And for that, he/she doesn’t deprive style from the fashion shoot but brings out a laid-back elegance in Kim Ah Joong.

Park Shi Yeon is going to stop traffic?

A new teaser poster’s been released for KBS2TV’s next drama. The production team for “남자이야기 (Story of a Man)” announced on the 27th that this is the drama’s official promotional poster and they’re considering blowing up the whole thing for advertisement purposes. To plaster on buildings that is. Currently, the inside joke is that if they were to do that, Park Shi Yeon’s gams might cause major road blocks.

Anyway the action-romance story, whose title incidentally begins with a “namja”, picks up from BOF’s time slots of Mondays and Tuesdays at 9.55pm. The drama tells of Kim Shin’s (played by Park Yong Ha) strife in this world governed by the devils of money and his plot for revenge against people who pushed his family to bankruptcy. Park Shi Yeon and Kim Kang Woo meet again (after movie “Marine Boy”) where she plays doting girlfriend Seo Kyung Ah, to Kim Shin and the latter, antagonist Chae Do Woo.

03/30 Kim HyunJoong to be admitted to Hospital on 03-Apr after ‘BOF’ ends to ‘receive treatment for accident side-effects’



Yoon JiHoo’ Kim HyunJoong will be admitted to hospital on 03-Apr to receive treatment and rest at the same time.

Kim HyunJoong who acts in KBS 2TV ‘Boys Over Flowers’ had completed his filming for the drama on 29-Mar. Kim HyunJoong will finish all his pre-arranged schedules including CF filming till 02-Apr and be admitted to the hospital.

Kim HyunJoong met up with an accident not long ago and suffered side-effects arising from it, however due to his busy schedules, he was not able to receive full treatment for it. In addition, he did not have sufficient rest, thus his condition is not good. Kim HyunJoong will stop almost all his activities by April to rest and concentrate on recovering his body.

Company DSP Media representative said to Newsen on 30-Mar through a telephone conversation “Drama filming ends on 29-Mar. The other outstanding schedules will be completed by 02-Apr and he will go to the hospital to receive treatment.”

Kim HyunJoong acts for the role Yoon JiHoo in ‘Boys Over Flowers’ who is a member of F4 and render love for female character Geum JanDi (Goo HyeSun). His role is very popular among female fans.

21 to 2NE1, YG Copied a Group’s Name?

YG Entertainment explained their side of the story over the 21 shock.

YG Entertainment expressed, "We recently announced that the girl Big Bang group would be called 21, as in to anyone. However, it was found that there was already a male singer that had debuted in 2005 with the name To Anyone. Honestly, we had no idea that someone had already debuted under this name." Yang Hyun Suk clarified that "When 21 appeared on tv, the subtitles even put the name as 2NE1. In their debut album, there is even a song called 2NE1 and this was a decision that was made before all the criticism."

Lee Byeong-heon Draws Crowds of Fans in Japan

Actor Lee Byeong-Heon has been visited by more than 2,000 Japanese fans nearly every day during his stay in Akita Prefecture, Japan to shoot his new drama "IRIS", his agency BH Entertainment said.

"We kept the shooting locations secret, so only some key staff knew about them. It was surprising how the Japanese fans found out where the shooting was taking place, and as many as approximately 2,500 fans came to a shooting site to see Lee every day", the agency said. "The Akita Prefecture government had police and security guards stationed for emergencies, but no regrettable incidents happened".

Since the Korean actor arrived on March 9, the Japanese prefecture has seen many of his fans pour into the area from all over the country, filling up all hotels and motels although it is the off season, according to the agency. "Some 300 fans were even waiting for Lee at the hotel where he was staying from morning until evening. Lee had to hold an impromptu hand-shaking session for them almost every evening when he returned to the hotel after shooting", the agency said.

Lee returned home on Saturday to take part in local shooting here. A spy action drama with a budget of 20 billion won, "IRIS" has a notable cast including actresses Kim Tae-hee and Kim So-yeon and actors Kim Seung-woo and Jeong Joon-ho.

Although Korea’s idol groups are constantly competing for popularity and the top music spot on stage, once off stage and out of the limelight these boys and girls of the same generation are linked tightly together by thick friendship bonds.

Wonder Girls’ Sunye and Yoobin are close friends with SNSD’s Taeyeon, and there are frequent email exchanges between the girls during their free time. Sunye and Taeyeon, being leaders of their respective girl groups, became closer by encouraging and understanding each other through difficult times. Sunye is also close to SNSD’s Hyoyeon and Yuri, while Yoobin maintains contact with SNSD’s Tiffany and Brown Eyed Girls’ rapper Miryo.

SS501’s Kim Hyunjoong, now better known for his role in the hit Korean drama “Boys over Flower”, is close friends with Tohoshinki’s Yoochun and Jaejoong as well as Big Bang’s TOP. The four boys had known each other since their schooling days, and frequently renew their friendships through drinking sessions.

Meanwhile, Big Bang’s Seungri and Kara’s Goo Hara both graduated from the same high school while Kara’s Han Seungyeon and Wonder Girls’ Yeeun became closer when both of them enrolled at the same time into Kyung Hee University pursuing acting and postmodern music respectively.

Fashion icon Seo In Young is back!

Jewelry Seo In Young is back in Korea after her 2-month American vacation and she did the photoshoot for Maybelline on 30th March in Seoul for the brand’s lip gloss product.

At the photoshoot, she was seen with a very feminine image. When asked about her new image, she said, “It is quite a burden to transform into a very feminine image suddenly. I want to show the very strong and free image like I had did previously.”

Seo In Young revealed a new fashion trend, “Recently the trend for spring is chiffon dress with vintage flower pattern prints and boots. While this can be a lovely look, it gives out a strong feeling also.”

She also revealed plans to come out with a book and also make a trip down to Singapore for that.

The recording for Jewelry’s new album will start in April and the Jewelry will comeback in June-July with a new album.

2NE1 - 21st Century New Evolution
YG has officially decided not to use “To Anyone,” since that is already being used by the artist 21 (To Anyone). He said, “I’m so sorry to 21. We did not check in advance if anyone else had the name.” This is not something to complain about, btw. An artist already had that name so it really isn’t fair.

2NE1 will be their official name. “NE” stands for New Evolution, and the “21″ also stands for the 21st century. Therefore, 2NE1 will be the new evolution of the 21st century.

YG also said, “2NE1 will be introduced as a female group with always having new challenges with a new form of music. A YG rep said, “2NE1 will formally debut in May, and have been preparing for 4 years for good songs and activities this year.”

Well, Sandara's hairdo sure is sample of new evolution...gone bad. And oh man, YG takes way too long to debut his artists, for instance he lost May Doni from 2NE1 because of that and God knows who else. (I still don't get it why Park Bom did stick around this long as YG should have debuted her as a solo artist years ago.)
