Singer Ivy shared an unobstructed word of advice for her hoobaes (juniors) on an episode of her own reality show on M.net IVY BACK that aired on the 16th.

Having successfully graduated from Seoul's Dongduk Women's University, Ivy returned to the stage alongside her hoobaes who also aspire to become singers. The performer lent a word of advice to them: "If you can sing, be a singer, but if you can't, don't. If you don't heed my advice, I will punish you."

She added, "When I see an aspiring singer who can't sing, I feel like that the person only wants to become a singer to become a celebrity."

Well in idol groups it's not always about singing, per se. You need personalities in the group that can do variety and those who are charismatic enough to hold the viewer's attention. Vocal chops alone doesn't necessarily bring success (or, you know, income).
