this actual kids give you some perspective .....

like watching those pre-teen girls just acting their age makes one realise how commonly kpop infatilize grown woman only to fit aegyo concepts

let's not pretend we havent seen before girls in their 20's dancing/doing aegyo/dressed exactly like this... for me the creppy part is this cute outfit + heavy make up combo

for real...this is honestly the first time that such super cutesy voices and ott aegyo haven't come off as cringe-worthy to me and it's because, in this case, it's entirely age-appropriate.

they couldnt make the titles of those youtube videos any longer could they...
also you can see their male trainer (? or ceo?) in the background. i guess he was evaluating them. these kids are way too young for that. they look like a bunch of middle schoolers having fun after school, not like celebrities training for their debut. they dont have "it". let them stay kids for a little longer.

Wow.
Nope.

K-pop needs to stop debuting kids. 18 and over only please!

children that must be protected.

is the concept watching them become good? i don't mean this in a mean way, they're so young and unexperienced, the dancing is stiff and the voices are kinda screechy. but they're not supposed to be professional at this age anyway so i'm so confused as to what this is! it's like they're debuting as literal trainees?

they're adorable, but they should be allowed to be kids. :/ their company can surely wait another 6 to 8 years before "debuting" them.

whats sad is that debuting girls at 12 is normal in JPop so if this isnt condemned then it will also get normalized in Kpop. The "common" debut age of 16 is already too young.

jfc chaerin is literally in 5th grade. that's nuts. and eun jung is in 6th! middle school is still way too young to debut, but i could understand the oldest 3 being trainees. but like 5th grade is way too young to even be a trainee imo

this is sad! why can't they just wait until they're 18 and over to debut them? they're kids, the last they need is growing up in such a toxic environment. they're 12 years old now, who knows if they'll still want to do this next year? why can't their parents just let them be kids?

The MV was posted a while back and I kept thinking that these girls making a collab with The East Light might be fun.
The song doesn't really do anything for me but I'm pretty sure I'm way out of their target demography.
They're obviously way too young to debut but since there's nothing I can do about it I hope they have as light promos as possible and don't gain haters. Ideally they'll fall into obscurity and go back to school.

they're adorable, but knowing how seedy and horrible this industry is (and how it revels in preying on children), i just want to wrap them up in blankets and whisk them away.

i can't believe they actually have a member who just. turned. 11.

11!!!
