We hear from their company not them. This can be useful for them when they (and by they I mean any idol not just BP) want to hide behind their company, but it becomes their Achilles's Heel when people question the truth b/c there's no authenticity in kpop. It also doesn't help that companies media play these groups as ideal boyfriends and girlfriends, so people and fans are extra invested in their relationships and who they may or may not be dating.
