Every week I check out the charts in a past year and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see who topped the charts in the 1st week of October, 2010. OP remembers none of these music videos. I was probably taking a break this week lol. Maybe you remember them.



#3 Sung Si Kyung and IU “It’s You”
Sung Si Kyung always does well on the charts, and this song with IU was on there for weeks. No music video for this song, so here’s a live performance.

#2 Shinee “Hello”
I have never seen this MV. The choreography does not look familiar to me either, but I remember the song though…my local Daiso used to play a lot of Shinee lol.

#1 Miss A “Breathe”
I remember really liking this song and the choreography. Probably my favorite song from the group. I don’t remember the live performances though.

Honorable Mentions

#4 Beast “Breath”
I only remember the chorus, I don’t remember the rest of the song at all. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen the MV for this one either. What fun choreography!

#8 2NE1 “Can’t Nobody”
The only thing I remember about this MV is Minzy in the hallway lol. That’s also the only part of the song that I recognize. And the chorus. Red hair Park Bom remains iconic.

Oh, I didn't even notice her shoe until you mentioned it! I just chose that performance because I like Music Core's camerawork over Inkigayo lol!

Omg I absolutely loved hello! I had this song on repeat along with suju no other. It was my happy music. It’s still so freaking cute and happy. I’m going to listen to it again lol

Miss A’s Breathe should’ve been their biggest hit. It was their greatest release ever! I remember giffing the hell out of it when the MV first came out. It was a perfect release.

Hello was from the Lucifer Repackage and I remember buying the repackaged album just for how adorable the MV was.

I think this B2ST single made me a Dongwoon stan but Beast really came into their own with Fiction. I didn’t really care about their sound before that.

Can’t Nobody was amazing! This was a stellar week to do a Flashback Friday for OP!

Time flies and now I feel old because I remember everything except the IU&SSK duet.
Breathe was the first song where I learned the choreo for (almost) the entire song, instead of just the chorus.

i love breathe sooo much!! one of my fave miss a songs and the choreo is so nice too <3
i have a love/hate relationship with hello, somedays i keep singing it all day, other daysi can't stand it lol and have to skip it on shuffle, i did like how cute and adorable the song is and i do love most parts of the song, just the "hello, hello" parts bug me sometimes too much

I just remember thinking Hello was so cute and simple compared to Lucifer (which is probably why they did it)

Can't Nobody still is amazing. To Anyone is 2NE1's best album because it gave us Can't Nobody, Clap Your Hands, Go Away and It Hurts.
