The song is so.... dated? like 2012 dated. I was expecting some rapping, but not like 80% of the song to be rapping. 6/9 of them are rappers, with Chan/Chris doing double duty as a vocalist, which explains it I guess. I'll still watch the survival show probably, but JYPE needs to work on getting them better songs in the future..

Apparently the song and choreo were done by the guys themselves... I guess JYPE is really pushing for them to be the self-producing type of idols.

On another note, Stray Kids isn't the groups final name, just the survival show name. I've kind of gotten attached to it already though...

All songs / MVs they're going to release during the show are self composed by members themselves so that's not gonna happen. This one is composed and choreographed by the members too.

Yes I know, I responded to myself in a comment above after I found out they produced this themselves. lol We'll see. I like a lot of what 3RACHA produced/released on their channel. This just wasn't their best track imo, but I'll still stick around cause I know they can do better.

I knooow.. chris' 3racha songs are the reason i'm kind of underwhelmed by this. lol It's not too bad though, but not really something I'd repeat as much as like tik tok or pace. Producing for 3 rappers -> 6 is probably a challenge, so I'm fine w it.

I love the song but some of them can't sing.
This is a recurring problem with JYPE, they hype up the ones who aren't as great.
Also JYPE has the best producers when it comes to writing singles. Even Got7 has an amazing list of singles ruined by JB and Yugyeom's voices.
Their rapper (the first one) isn't half bad.

Also I love the name Stray Kids. Its the most inspired name I've heard in K-Pop since Twice.

Based on the twitter thread, I'm a fan of the vocal line, mostly Woojin. I thought I saw Gikwang in the video, turns out that was Chan.

I like some angst kpop, but this song was really generic.
kind of weird to see a jype group with decent rappers lol the vocalists tho... not my cup of tea, just like I really don't like jb's voice at all.

I'm curious about these boys so I'll def check their survival, but I hope they release more dynamic songs during the show.

Honestly, I don't mind that it feels old or anything, I actually think everything is fine. My problem is that the name doesn't fit the way the chorus sounds AT ALL. How do you make the song so upbeat and fun when you sing about being on an Hellevator in a song that comes out in fucking october?
