I started watching while you were sleeping yesterday! Now I'm waiting to see if the last few minutes of episode 2 will be subbed before I go to bed, because I make terrible decisions.

But I'm glad TV season is starting, because wow has the last week been stressful. I had a weird moment on Monday when I realized that I was relieved to be cramming for an exam, because cutting myself off from social media for a few hours was making me the calmest I'd been in days.

Also, I'm confused with this BTS stuff. Is bighit's calendar just super inaccurate? I didn't see anything about any music shows after M Countdown, but it seems like they're at Music Bank? I need a way to keep up with this stuff that isn't twitter. ._.

It was my birthday yesterday! but I had one of my longest day of work lol no way to celebrate. Though my coworkers found a window to offer me oriental pastries that were SO GOOD they're already all gone :D
I'm eating with a few friends tonight and going shopping with my mom tomorrow :)
Nothing big lol, birthdays kinda depresses me now, it's not even linked with age (though it will be weird turning 30 in three years) but how different it is? idk. I don't really feel like celebrating it anymore.

My Paramore concert last weekend was awesome, I'm so glad I got tickets. They played a lot from their new album (which I love) but also a bunch from their older albums. It was just really fun + the venue was gorgeous. There was a point when Hayley told us to imagine ourselves in 2007 and this kid behind us said "oh, I was only 5 then" and I felt elderly in that moment.

MyDramaList got updated and now you can mark the amount of times you've rewatched dramas! And they added more features like adding dates when you start/finish a drama and ranking rewatchability, which is exactly the kind of over-organizing I thrive on. I highly recommend MDL if you want to keep track of what you've watched/your progress on dramas and if you like to rate shows after they're finished.

Let me just start off by confessing that I knew I was gonna attend this concert since the moment they announced tour dates in Europe and more specifically in Amsterdam, but Omona hates him and so I didn't mention anything and acted coy because I didn't want that negative energy around me since for personal reasons I was in desperate need of a getaway trip like this. You can judge me all you want now, I don't care BECAUSE IT WAS FANTASTIC (baby).

Yes, I went to see GD and even though I was there to see G-Dragon by the end of the concert I realized I was actually watching Kwon Ji Young.

He was really honest about his life and this image he has to maintain and he still struggles with showing his true self because he doesn't think that people will still like him after that. He did seem tired and was/is painfully skinny like I wanted to go backstage and feed him, but he put on a great show and I am very happy I got to see the person who got me into kpop and 1/5 of the group that got me into kpop.

Also, I can't believe I forgot the concert tickets at home like 2 hours before the doors opened I realized I brought with me the printed version of the boarding passes rather than the tickets (I put them in similar plastic thingies) lmao such fail but good thing they had the option to show the ticket on the phone. We had tickets for the last standing category, behind VIP Gold and another standing category but because we were like 50 people for that one and the concert sold maybe a little over 50% of the tickets, they moved everyone forward so they merged the 2 standing sections and we even ended up in front of people who spent more on their tix lol. I'm not really complaining but had I known that I could have rushed and been 5 rows closer to the stage.

No one was pushing, there was plenty of room around me to dance and jump. The only weird thing was this girl standing behind me not moving at all. It felt like she wasn't impressed. And then there was this couple in front of me. The guy filmed everything on his phone which is whatever and his loss for preferring to do that instead of having the time of his life but I'm fairly sure his gf/wife made him do it because at the end of almost every song she kept hitting him over the hand he was holding his phone with to stop recording like "ok, that's enough. nothing's happening now. only film the songs" and I found that really strange? But what annoyed me the most about it was the fact that the guy had one of those phone cases with a flap, the one that looks like a cover and also serves as a card holder and you need to open it to look at the screen and you can fold it to the back but it covers the camera so you have to leave it opened while using the camera? Like I'm okay with you holding your phone up for over 2 hours and everyone behind you moving around to see the stage but that combined with the phone case made it look like he was recording with a tablet it was extra distracting.

Anyway, GD looks really pretty irl and I need his makeup products because I have never seen such a healthy glow on someone's face during a performance. Every video I took on my phone sounds great and I am very happy about it because usually the bass ruined previous concerts but now I have nice videos to keep as memories *cries so more*

One thing this experience made me realize is that I'm not ready for a BTS concert. I don't even stan GD that hard and I got emotional a few times, what would I do during a BTS concert? I am honestly terrified.

In other news, the lack of callherblondie in BTS posts this week hurts my heart. I know you're really busy, bb, but know that I am thinking about you! *smooches*

walked past my old high school and saw some kids during their gym class jogging and it made me feel so thankful for bot having to do any if that anymore loool!!! i also (finally after forever) went to my doctor who didn't recognize me anymore cause it had been a while ooops. i'm the type of person who only goes to the doctors if i'm almost dying but that's not the smartest or healthiest way if living so i definitely need to change that.

apart from some litte things i'm happy to just stay at home this weekend and chill. catch up on some dramas. speaking of dramas: i watched andante and even though i know jongin isn't the best actor around i was surprised at how silly and funny his character is. i'm not really into the whole death thing yet but i'm excited for the next episodes.

My BTS -HER- set arrived (with customs charges, ugh), and then the Winner S/S on arrived the next day; I'm on a high of looking at inconceivably attractive men trying to kill me through visuals rn. The photo-cards I got were all my fave members too so I'm just like... who out there is really trying to destroy me tbh? Also, my copy of the Kang Daniel inStyle issue has shipped and so I'm now eager for that to arrive too.

I've started taking more walks recently (I live near the countryside and so that helps), and it's been so calming to just play music and detach. I'm also so glad it's the time for new seasons of TV, having shows like The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine back in my life is such a happy stress reliever (there's other shows too, but those are my main positive outlet ones lol).

I also really need to start that Save Me/Rescue Me drama, I didn't look into much and didn't realise what it was about until I saw people referencing in relation to Bogum's recent issue; and now I can't wait to start it because I'm weird, and fascinated by stuff like that.

Morning Omona! It’s either my third or fourth week of not eating meat. I lost count tbh.

I’ve been online shopping like crazy lately and it’s not an addiction I just really need new clothes. There’s zero point to going into a store these days. The weather here is STILL fluctuating and I’m wondering where TF my fall weather is. I didn’t sign up for this heat. I have a New York trip planned in october and I’m really excited. I want to go see CupcaKKe and I’m trying to drag my friend with me to see her. I haven’t been to NY in the fall so I feel like I’m going to enjoy it too much.

well its been a better week after the hellfire of last weekend when my mom got discharged from the hospital. long story short, the social worker at the hospital fucked up and its now more of a can of worms and will probably need investigating. my mom's now at a rehabilitation center, she's walking really well and now is working in bending her knee.

since I wasn't able to see mom on my birthday, the card she gave me was a tearjerker, she always does that, but I had a pretty good day, my aunt's took me out for lunch and went shopping with my one aunt and uncle.

my BTS Her and other Wings albums are "in transit" to my house, I have a feeling they will be here tomorrow.

Like mc1a said above, we went to see GD this week in Amsterdam and had the time of our lives. I'm not a huge fan, I admit and I was always under the impression that he was arrogant and idk try-hard maybe, but the GD I saw at the concert was definitely someone else and left me pleasantly surprised, I can say I like him a lot now lol. He is sooo smol, tho and skinny af, boy needs to eat asap but he's a great performer. Now my only problem is I need a new kpop concert again *prays to all the gods to bring BTS to Europe and for me to be able to go*

Now, in non kpop related things, I am really amazed that dudes no matter their ages are douchebros. While in Amsterdam, we had dinner with our friend from high school who lives there and her Dutch bf. He's in his 30s, I think 33 maybe and his friend who was also there is in his 30s too but my god their jokes and the way they behaved made me think they're really immature and douchebros. I've always liked older guys bc I was thinking that wisdom comes with age but I was so wrong. Are there any decent guys left on this planet or should I start looking for more cats to buy? Bc if every guy is going to act like my classmates in high school even if they're past that age.../sigh. I'd still hit my friend's boyfriend's friend bc lbr he was good looking, not really my type but he was charming

i want to get my hair cut soon & i have no idea what i want to do, tbh 😪 i’ll add a pic of it rn below this, since it doesn’t look much like that in selfies—it’s an asymmetrical bob right now (i was #inspired by jiyoon’s cut in crazy) and as much as i’d trim it to be neat like that again i’m unsure bcus last time i got it done, it ended up being longer and thicker in the back than i originally wanted. hair with maintenance generally isn’t for me, tbh. i really love the way it falls in the front but it always feels so messy in the back, ugh. and if i don’t end up doing this asymmetrical cut again, i’ll probably do it shorter (cons: i’ve never had my hair shorter than this in the back, and my mom has a similar cut so i don’t want to be called a mini me, lol)

In other news, I took a muscle relaxant last night to try to help with my jaw clenching (it's so bad I keep waking up in the morning with the taste of blood in my mouth) but now I'm so groggy I can barely see straight. I can't tell if the jaw clenching is because of my sinus pressure or a side effect of the medication I'm taking for my depression. I guess I'm gonna go off my meds for a while and see if it helps. And I was diagnosed with ADHD two days ago. At 31. So that's fun.
