The teaser starts with Han Ye-seul's character shyly saying that she thinks that love begins by going to watch a movie together, because you’re hyper-aware of your date’s presence and that’s when you discover that you might come to like that person. We see the high school versions of the leads on just such a date, followed by some adorable couple-y teasing, and younger Kim Ji-suk going in for a kiss. Present-day Kim Ji-suk is just as smooth, nonchalantly handing over some roses and joking that he found them on the ground. Both of them light up when Kim Ji-suk corrects her about his relationship status: “I’m not married. Don’t go around spreading fake rumors.”#20thCenturyBoyandGirl 2nd teaser : pic.twitter.com/vF64LNv3po

Han Ye-seul continues with her interview, saying that living as a thirtysomething single woman in Korea hasn’t changed much, although it’s accepted that marriage isn’t the happy ending anymore: “But I don’t want to blame myself. And I hope those of you listening do the same.”
The new romantic-comedy follows three women - all born in 1983 - who lives in Oksu-dong, a rundown apartment. Despite the fact that the women are in their mid-thirties, none of them have married. However, their new lives begin when the boys they liked in their youths suddenly reappears#20thCenturyBoyandGirl releases official poster: pic.twitter.com/JDlbFN400e

The anticipated new drama is lead by Han Ye Seul who plays the role of Sa Jin Jin, an actress, and a former idol. As a young girl, she has a friend named Gong Ji Won but, due to unknown circumstances, the two were separated.
Years later, Ji Won has become a big-time investment banker with an MBA from Harvard and an experience working on Wall Street. However, absence does make the heart grow fonder because, despite the distance, he still is in love with his childhood sweetheart. The character is played by Kim Ji Suk.
Ryun Hyun Kung also stars as Han A Reum, a flight attendant who is constantly on a diet. Lee Sang-woo costars as a former idol who had the opposite trajectory as Han Ye-seul’s character. He managed to survive in the industry but only barely, and even as an actor on daily dramas, he drives himself to the broadcasting station and often gets blocked at the entrance by security because nobody recognizes him. The rest of the cast includes Ahn Se Ha as Jung Woo Sung, Lee Sang Hee as Jang Young Sim, Lee Chang Yeob as Lee Dong Hoon and others.
According to International Business Time, expect a cameo appearance from Han Sun Hwa. The actress and former girl group member will play the role of a popular celebrity.
"20th Century Boy & Girl" was written by Lee Sun Hye, the same person behind "Reply 1997." Meanwhile, MBC has tapped Lee Dong Yoon, formerly of "Fated To Love You" and "Happy Home," to direct the 32-episode (OP note: 32 half hour episodes, 16 hours total) drama.
