omonatheydidThis week's was the penultimate episode of Idol School, in which ten students were eliminated and the students were divided into three teams to perform original songs with a focus on the choreography, done by famous idol choreographers. There will also be one song sung by all eighteen girls at the finale (so, basically the same deal as with Produce 101, except with the original song performances put in the final episode).
As theorised by their sudden activity on social media, the eliminated members were, in order of final rank;
Shin Sia, Kim Nayeon, Chu Wonhee, Seo Herin, Tasha, Lee Dahee, Jo Youngjoo, Lee Yoojeong, Kim Myeongji, and Kim Joohyun/Jenny.
The eliminated members have been taking to their instagrams to post messages to the fans of the show, or address their sadness at leaving.
This week's top 9 is:
1. Noh Ji Sun
2. Song Ha Young
3. Lee Seo Yeon
4. Lee Sae Rom
5. Lee Chae Young
6. Lee Hae In
7. Lee Na Kyung
8. Baek Ji Heon
9. Jang Gyu Ri
This is the same top 9 as last week, but I think this might have been because they filmed the top 9's + eliminations together and didn't broadcast a new top 9 at the end of this episode for once. Baek Jiheon's return to the top 9 and Gyuri's first time in the top 9 unseats Park Jiwon and Yoo Jina.
This week the 18 remaining students were divided into teams to perform original songs with choreography by the nation's leading idol choreographers.
Pinocchio (00:21 in the video) is choreographed by the man behind Pristin's Wee Woo, Twice's Knock Knock and Seventeen's Pretty.
It will be performed by Lee Chaeyoung (5), Lee Nakyung (7), Baek Jiheon (8), Park Jiwon (10), Yoo Jina (11), and Park Somyeong (12).
Magical (01:16) is choreographed by Bae Yoonjung, who choreographed EXID's Up & Down, PD101 S1's Pick Me, Kara's Mister, Brown Eyed Girls' Abracadabra and Girl's Day's Something.
It will be performed by Lee Haein (6), Lee Sian (13), Natty (14), Bae Eunyoung (15), Kim Eunsuh (16) and Bin Haneul (17)
You In My Fantasy (02:15) is choreographed by Idol School mentor Park Junhee, GFRIEND's choreographer.
It will be performed by Noh Jisun (1), Song Hayoung (2), Lee Seoyeon (3), Lee Saerom (4), Jang Gyuri (9), and Jo Yuri (18).

Episode 9 had ratings of 0.4% so i'm sort of not sad for the eliminated girls, I hope they get signed and debuted soon!

Date: 2017-09-24 08:06 pm (UTC)Anyway...We know who is going to be in the group at this point and that group is going to be...well it will exist. I'm hoping these girls get snatched up. Also all three songs need to be used and released because that would be a shame.
