VIXX’s Leo Hospitalized Due To Stomach Pains

VIXX’s Leo will be taking a break from activities in order to recover his health.

On September 20, his agency Jellyfish Entertainment revealed, “Last week, Leo completed his last music show schedule for VIXX LR’s album promotions while getting treated due to his personal will. However, his stomach pains did not improve, so he has been hospitalized to receive treatment.”

Leo will be focusing on his treatment and recovery, and as a result, he will not be participating in all upcoming activities including VIXX’s Japanese promotions and schedules. The VIXX LR fan signing schedule for September 29 will also been postponed to October.

Jellyfish concluded, “We express our apologies for causing worry for fans, and we will work our hardest for the recovery of Leo’s health. Thank you.”

ughhhh I've been worried about this but was hoping it wasn't anything this bad. I feel like they've been severely overworked this year, he and Wonsik in particular have been everywhere.

Ikr! On an interview he mentioned that he used to be able to have about 12 cups or something in a day (!!!) But these days he could only drink about 3 cups a day, which is still a lot. I'm always jealous at people who can seem to gulp coffee at any time in a day because I have a hella weak stomach and have to be extra careful to have a cup a day but i still do it because otherwise i can't stay awake T^T

Everyone, who's been following VIXX knows that they get holidays in between schedules (staying at locations longer after schedule, for example N recently).

Leo is a grown man. Pains of the stomache can come unexpected and Jelpi informed fans quickly enough that he was already taken to hospital (and again after promo ended).
This man has some food intolerances(?) but still eats them (crab fe) and has a big intake of coffee every day. Americano can't be that strong but it sure isn't healthy either for an artist.

I hope he'll get better soon and I'm happy to know that Jelpi took him off all promos until further notice. They are an exceptional company after all.

Intestinal bleeding could be a symptom of something much more serious than just food intolerances, so I'm glad he's getting the care he needs and resting up. :(
