I'm not sure when exactly. I'm new to the Exo fandom. I came across this picture when image searching and had a good laugh at the velcro that clearly visable on Xuimin's open shirt. Also bonus points for Chen's face in this photo lol Right click open for full size

I just find it hilarious because I don't think most groups have velcro outfits. Or at least they only lift up their shirts to show their abs. tbh I feel like Exo is top group for ripping their cloths off (ok, really it's Xuimin 90% of the time, but the others do occasionally) And it kills me that they make it look like a button up shirt but go to the trouble of adding velcro. lol

I had a co-workers daughter who went on Jerry Springer. I know Jerry's show was more outrageous, but it's kind of the same. A lot of people go on to have their five seconds of fame. Some go on there for real problems but the show producers will tell them to be more dramatic and to go wild. I know with her they told her to react dramatically and in certain ways but they didn't tell her why she was on there (her bf brought her there to say he was cheating. they went on three times lol). I know with the paternity test a lot of people would go on because they can be costly. I think more than often it is people just using it to get a few minutes of fame.

People asking if the guests are actors, the answer is no. The guests are authentic. Some of the writing (Particularly in the introductory clips) are scripted.

Maury targets a lot of disenfranchised people, usually black or white Americans with low income or close to the poverty level, and the selling point is a free trip to New York City and a free paternity test and/or lie detector test.

Maury, the person, is shit for this tbh. He's profited off of it for years and has made MONEY. (His net worth is something like 40+ million and his year salary is about 25 percent of that.) Fuck him. And I hope someone on EXO's team has the sense to do some good googling and avoid this shit like the plague. I would not want, as a musical artist or group trying to gain international traction, to be associated with Maury in the slightest.
