I'm on the west coast of Florida ( closer to the Tampa-ish area) but some of the counties nearby are starting to have evacuation notices. and even closer voluntary evacs. If we're lucky we'll just get a lot of rain though some areas are prone to flooding so..idk. We still don't know what we're going to do yet and to top it off my mom's in the hospital right now and we don't know yet when she'll be discharged.

i'm in the US but fortunately away from the hurricanes and the fires that are ravaging the country right now. i hope everyone affected by the hurricanes (especially people in the caribbean) and those hit by the recent earthquake in mexico (as well as all the disasters that seem to be happening at once all around the world) will be safe. you guys are in my thoughts, and like i said in a comment above if anyone sees gofundmes/donation sites for ANY of the disasters right now please send them my way!

so i'm hanging out with best friend today which is great. also, i finally found someone i trust who wants to give me driving lessons!! i'm just so relieved i finally found someone after the last instructor (i payed too damn much for) traumatized me!!! now i don't know if it's a smart decision but i think i'm going to take a short break from looking for a job. the whole process is draining lol.

also seeing exo enjoying themselves with this repackage album puts a huge smile on my face (and makes me wish we had a reality show...:

Happy Friday everyone! I hope your weeks have been better than mine....

So my crazy ass job is about to get worse again. We're losing ANOTHER person this month (my department had like 11 people at the peak) which is 4 people this year and 5 since I started last year. Of course we're not getting any new people so the workload is insane. We wouldn't be hemmoraging people if our management wasn't so wacky but here we are.

On top of all the job craziness I had an unexpected death in the family so I'm traveling for the funeral. Family drama is the worst.

Hoping everyone here is safe, or have at least got to safety! It has been a terrible time with many things going on.

I'm back from my trip to Seoul, and there was a typhoon scare last week before my flight out to Seoul, which was a little bit worrying, but I kinda slept through the wait (LOL).
But it was a great trip with food, shopping and soaking in the sights! Although there were some setbacks like weather was a little too hot for my liking (30 degrees omo) and some family travelling problems, I still enjoyed it.

Managed to buy my Soshi, Jessica, and JJ Project albums! (they cost me close to USD$50 though...) Got a Jinyoung photocard!!!
The Night album was such a trip down memory lane though with all the old photos, and so much YoonYul! Even My Decade had old pictures of Sica and the Sone in me felt so heartened seeing how far they've come through.

That said, Soshi and GOT7 aren't really seen much around in endorsements or pictures, but I did hear quite a number of stores play Holiday. Gashina was definitely played a lot though. Seolhyun, Twice, and IU are everywhere too!

What are bus trips like? Do you think it's easy to move within Korea?
I'm thinking about going to Pyeongchang, but it'd be waaaay easier if I stayed in Seoul and commute there, but I'm not sure if I'll have proper and regular transportation from and to Pyeongchang.
Also, is food really that inexpensive over there?

Morning Omona. Please please please keep my family in your thoughts! The ones in the Bahamas lucked out and the hurricane is going to side step them apparently but we're now trying to get my grandpa out of Florida. He's in Ft Lauderdale and it's hard trying to find flights for him to come to the Midwest :/ my cousins who live in Miami are thinking about evacuating since the storm is supposed to reach up there too. My thoughts are with everyone during these disasters.

Other than that giving me anxiety haha I have my hair out in its natural curls for the first time in like 84 years. And I have zero clue what to do with it. So my natural darlings if you could give me some style tips I'd be grateful. I can't braid at all (I need to learn) so easy styles would be nice.

Had knee surgery yesterday...worse pain I've ever been in to be honest. Can't wait til my recovery is over. At least I have BTS comeback to look forward too. I'm on medical leave for month so it's not like I'm doing anything.

Praying for everyone affected by the hurricane. My friend is currently in the US for school but her family is from the Bahamas and I'm really worried for her. I can't imagine how she must feel right now.

On another note, I'm slightly stressed because of the Day6 ticket prices. I personally would be willing to drop the $195 for the P1 seats, but none of my friends like Day6 as much as I do, and the only one who's willing to come with me will only go up to P4. I dunno, I feel like I might regret it if I don't get the best seats because it might be my only chance, but they'll come back to the US, right?

I say go solo and get the best seat you can! Going alone to a concert is pretty fun, you don't have to worry about anyone else or if the person you're with is enjoying it as much as you are (which is a thing I realized that I think about.. lol). They'll definitely comeback though (hopefully), but it'll probably cost more..

i live between Tampa and Vero Beach, and NHC's track on Irma brings it right into my area. we don't really have anywhere we can go, and they aren't evacuating the county. 99% of the shelters don't allow pets!
so unless water starts creepin' up or something, looks like we're staying here. we're near the kissimmee river, so i'm hoping the rainfall doesn't get too bad. :| i'm more worried about the wind, honestly.

Today's my last day at my current job and I was supposed to visit my grandparents in Florida this coming week, but they're preparing to evacuate if necessary due to the hurricane and told me to stay put. I've got a week off before I start my new job so I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do in the meantime lol; I don't really have the cash to take a mini vacation or anything like that.
