Yep, trainees is one thing because they're building up to debut anyway (even though it's obviously still exploitative and sad). Like you said, this is pure desperation considering they're from 'failed' groups and it makes it that much hurtful.

I hope it truly can be a second chance for some of them.

I'll forever be mad that Subin is flop-enough to get on this show istg this girl is so talented and I love her music ; while the whole idea of this show depresses me. But hey! hopefully she'll have a good run and get out of this with more fans <3 it makes sense for her to join. I wish the whole group, or just Woohee, could join too! but out of the 4, Subin is the one really into music so I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't that interested.

I think that music show win was like a stars aligning miracle. Weren't they against IU? It was something about some certain sales or votes not counting and Laboum basically lucked out tbh. Their reputation is good, but they're still in a place where going back to obscuration compared to other groups is still a real threat. They need to press on the gas and keep momentum.

I had wondered about Big Star and Brave girls and now I see it is true. I absolutely love BIG STAR and Boys Republic hoping for good things to come out of this. Big Star has been around for a while but was shipped over seas for the first year which I think hurt them!

Solo-wise, I guess Subin can be considered a "flop" :(? Might be the reason why the other girls aren't going and as a back-up plan for her since the company's been pushing her. This also might be Dal Shabet's last year since I think their contract expires this December... if it is, might not even get a group comeback since this starts in October and leaves no time :\...I wish the best for them all
