The studio doesn't belong to JYP, it's registered on Jackson's father.

That's why the teaser video wasn't uploaded on JYPE's channel.

I heard that JYPE only announced that he will have a team for his solo activities in China so it looked like the news came from them, not some Chinese source. They wanted to show that they knew about his plans.

Jackson's teaser wasn't uploaded on JYPE's channel and there's no promo about it on Korean news. Chinese fans checked the information about Jackson's studio and found out it was opened in April and registered on Jackson's dad. They say this solo is his own investment.

What's more, other members didn't mention Jackson solo. It's just like Bambam's cafe - he said he can't mention it because it's not associated with JYPE, his own business.

The fact that JYP announced it, is why I thought it was something they did for his activities in China (because of the ban and all that jazz).

And I thought there was nothing in JYPE's channel because they didn't want to ruin any possibility for Jackson's solo in China by linking it to his status as an idol in Korea (again, because of the banning), but yeah, it was strange to me that the members weren't saying anything like they did for JJP.

Now I understand a bit more why fans have been freaking out since his solo was announced.

Yes he commented yesterday? But members didn't mention or hype up Jackson's solo at fanmeetings, interviews and in official videos.

After articles came out about Jackson's solo and JJP comeback GOT7 had a fanmeeting in HK and JJP were mentioned more than once. During JJP's promotin Jackson's solo wasn't mentioned.

All members held lives on Naver V to promote JJP but didn't mention it. When Jackson held his and talked about JJP album for 15 min his fans started spamming the comment section with 'You can't talk about your solo?' 'Why won't you talk about it' and he finally spoke up and in 3 sentences asked fans to support his solo looking all scared lmao.

I don't think so. He said they were promised to be a hip hop group but ended up doing cure concept and he was disappointed.
