they also were on heyotv with woo jinyoung and woodam from p101. they've finished promos for the.the.the as yongguk is preparing to debut with jbj (fanmade group of produce 101 that's now a reality!). i've been pretty impressed with how choon is handling them, for such a small company they're really trying their best with their limited resources.

everyone, go give a view to their official music video! it's still a long way to go until 2 million (for a piano version) but we'll get there soon!

i'm pretty sure yongguk is going as yongguk and longguo is choon's way of attracting chinese/international fans lol (i've noticed he only calls himself longguo when speaking in chinese or in videos for english speaking fans?? aka their soompi bromance video which i forgot to post despite it being the video that made me want to make this post in the first place wow)

ngl tho i wish he'd come out and settle the yongguk vs longguo debate much like shihyun did the sihyun vs shihyun one lol

to show who is singing had him as Yongguk lol

i do but only cause i used to be in a chinese gc for them lol but ngl i'm not sure why choon decided to write it as longguo because i've only seen it used by chinese fans (who tend to romanize all korean names into chinese anyways). i've seen fans get confused when they see longguo in the title of the videos cause they know yongguk as yongguk lol

actually, when i read your comment this kind of struck me. even though everyone knows him as yongguk, i feel like he only refers to himself like that in the same way a lot of chinese kpop stars are called by their korean romanizations (ex: pristin's jieqiong/kyulkyung, seventeens minghao/myungho, etc...). technically speaking, he was born in china/is at least part chinese (depending on the translation you read), so i'm guessing when he was in china he went by longguo (even going as far to say his official name on his records is probably jin longguo and not kim yongguk). so one possibility is that he wanted to go by his real name and not a korean romanization of it. (i would too lol, the characters of his name are really nice)

I'm so pleasantly surprised by choon, for such a small company they're really coming through for these boys so far. Their mini was great and they have a good dynamic together. What more could we ask for than a yongguk x cats video tbh haha
