Amidst complaints of a lousy release date for their 10th anniversary comeback, complains about poor album distributions and printing, it has just been announced that SNSD wil be ending their Holiday Night promotions next week after their comeback/goodbye stage on Inkigayo.

Although unofficially "confirmed", it's been speculated that Yuri's ankle injury is far worse than first announced, as she might have been promoting with an ankle fracture that could need surgery to fix.

The girls also heavily teased fans during their fanmeetings today, heavily implying that a repackage album is underway:

SM is doing the bare minimum for everyone this year except nct ctfu. all these overlapped promo schedules, SM town concerts cutting into everything, underproducing both snsd and exo's albums KNOWING they both have very sizeable fanbases...

as for yuri's ankle... lol i knew that "we have treated it with ice" excuse was a total joke, like come on. were we all born yesterday? lol

and w wanna one dominating they're most definitely going to sweep music shows next week. maybe they didn't want to be on the shows live and have to lose to super rookies.

Underproducing albums is such a PR move to me, just like when companies book concert venues that are too small. Then they get articles saying, "What amazing popularity! The album's completely sold out! We had to add an extra concert date since all the tickets sold out instantly!"

i dont know what to say. its the girls 10th anniversary, at least act like you care about them @ SM.
i mean ofc yuri's health is priority number one but they have shown in the past that they dont care about their artists health and send them on stage even when they are about to die. i wonder why they didnt get her a chair or let another member cover her parts. im almost sure that wanna one's success plays a big part in their decision.

im happy that it doesnt look like they'll disappear after this album (repackage + japanese rumors).

This is just..... sad. I don't see what the point of a repackage would be either after a week of promo like? A Japanese comeback would be awesome indeed, but I wouldnt care much if it is just the new title tracks translated.

In any case, I wanted to enjoy this comeback as it will be SNSD's last, but instead I got a week of messy promo and fellow sone's bitching and moaning their asses off. Wonderful.

Wow just a week? For their 10th? I'd like to say I'm surprised but I'm really not. I expected at least two weeks though. If the repackage is on its way where will it fit in SMs overlapped plans? Either way I hope it happens and the Japanese album happens. Also poor Yuri :(

As for shinee, SM has been pretty bad at 10 year anniversaries that I expect them to just say happy 10th and call it a day lmao

Just 3 variety programs (one of which was really short) and just 3 music stages? FOR THEIR 10TH ANNIVERSARY?

If Yuri's ankle is in a bad condition I'm glad she will be able to rest, but that doesn't mean the other members have to stop promoting. I just don't know how to feel anymore, this comeback was planned so poorly and it makes me angry because the girls looked so happy and energetic during their stages in M! Countdown, way livelier than they looked during LH promos :'(

ohhhh so this is why snsd can't be nominated for mcountdown???? wtf i can understand yuri's leg not being good and needing medical attention (and therefor rest) but sm should have been clear about it at least, i mean a lot of fans expected EVERYTHING from this comeback, as this was "the big 10th anni comeback of their biggest girl group"and now it's being cut so short...at least they filmed some big variety shows so sones have those but still.... this and the album misproduction (which seems to happen a lil too often this year sm, someone is not doing their job of proofreading or just doesn't know any of the english spelled names of the members and just goes for whatever)

....don't even get me started on shinee, i first need to survive this comeback which is gonna be hard already bc of how things seemed to be scheduled (like taemin's cb seems delayed a bit if happening bc he didn't mention ANYTHING about it for his 2 radio schedules this week, only about concert, and therefore also shinee's cb unless they wanna give him a full burn-out and dive right into it after the jp dome tour ends)

honestly. this doesn't surprise me. when i saw that their schedule only had one week listed for music shows i had a feeling they'd only be promoting then and i know exactly what's gonna end up happening: nct dream is gonna be next week, and then they're gonna have taemin release his (delayed) mini album the first week of september for probably less than a two week promo and then move on to exo's repack. i just wonder when they're gonna fit in this repackage of soshi's considering that they still need to jam in (not including the already mentioned) super junior and shinee before the end of october as well. but considering how sm is they'll probably find a way, lol.

and i already know how shinee is gonna go honestly, tbh. there's been a rumor going on for awhile that they're going to have their "biggest concert ever" next year that goes into a "final" tour before onew's enlistment and their inevitable five or six year hiatus, lol. they'll probably get a comeback around their anni (that's promoted equally as much or worse than soshi's) with a summer repack and that'll be it.

What the fuck. Like besides Yuri needing absolute time to recover this is like the bare minimum for a girl group reaching their 10th anniversary AND made you a ton of money SM. This is unfortunate. I'm happy the girls are happy but it's like...I honestly don't care about these new groups SM is trying to make into their new cash cows. Whatever.
