So I finally got the full story of whatever happened 1200 years ago and the god servant stuff but it was still weird as hell in 1) how what's her face can only communicate through telepathy 2) the appearance of child!Ha Baek with no explanation 3) they don't tell us what the curse placed upon them via whatsherface was (unless the curse was Ha Baek randomly turning into a tween lol).

I'm glad Bi Ryeom/Moo Ra is finally happening (could've happened sooner though).

Thanks a lot for the explanation. I was about to ask why child Habaek keeps appearing out of no where. So Habaek was cursed to turn into a child by day?

In the manhwa, did it explain what exactly Habaek's lover did to cause Habaek to be cursed? Did it also explain why humans were allowed to live in the Water world? Sorry for asking so many questions. I haven't got the time to read up on the manhwa yet >.

Oh I thought it may have had something to do with the manhwa because I remembered something about having a child form from the synopsis back when the show was still be cast/had just started production.

I completely forgot about the day/night aspect though.

Also from my experiences with adaptations of books they leave in/hint at stuff from the source material all the time which was why I had a feeling it was related to the manhwa some how.

Well the backstory mostly followed the outline of what I had guessed except that either they haven't revealed Bi Ryeom's part in it or once upon a time, Bi Ryeom and Habaek were actually friends (go figure). I don't think I'm in the majority wishing Habaek hadn't come back from Water World or whatever the fuck they call it, but I know I'm not alone there either. I can literally barely keep my eyes focused when it's just Habaek and So Ah onscreen. They're killing me. I legit keep falling asleep mid-episode because of them. Give up on that asshole and date Hoo Ye whose seeming sole goal in life is to be a good dude. Though I'm not entirely sure why he likes So Ah who's deeply, deeply unempathetic, particularly for a person of her chosen profession but whatever.

Neither here nor there but Im Joo Hwan looked goooood in that last suit he wore in ep 11 and managed to follow So Ah down the street in a way that was mostly sweet (sad sweet) and only a tiny bit creepy. Props. If anything, this show has cured me of my crush on Nam Joo Hyuk, solidified it on Gong Myung, and maybe started a new one on Im Joo Hwan.

I swear I read somewhere that this week was the last episodes of Bride of the Water God and while I had no idea how they were gonna wrap everything up in just two episodes, I was kind of really looking forward to it being over. Why am I still here?

Also, was that Nurse Ha from DotS as Habaek's mother? That would make this at least the fifth show I've seen her in which I think is more than any other actor including the ones I have been specifically watching shows for.

Same on both counts. Those two are great in their roles and the subs for The King Loves pop up so late in the day whereas Bride of the Water God typically is subbed earlier.

i originally thought the manhwa was messy but the drama is even messier. why does do they say that soah is his first human love when he had nakbin? they've mentioned several times that habaek used to have someone he loved and moora keeps saying "this can't happen again" (or smth) and now when they finally (sort of) explain this first love, nakbin, it's just a few pathetic minutes.

also, the child version of habaek should've been younger, he's adorable in the manhwa :( lol

i'm more interested in moora and biryeoms parts. i feel like they + nam joohyuk are the only reason why i'm still watching this
