honestly, while I would also prefer a "girl love" or "sisterly bond" concept I would welcome this if it were a variation of "girl trying to win over boy" where the girl isn't being pure and angelic but actually manipulative and sneaky, because anti-heroines can be cool too. We get so many anti-heroes and not enough anti-heroines. It would actually be worse if it turned out that the gf was horrible and the girls win over the boy because of their innate goodness or some crap like that. Give me evil!!bitches over pure and bubbly heroines.
