Tbf GG as a good album artist might just be a taste thing between whoever is listening. I think Omona as a collective (me included) has always thought their Japanese stuff is stronger than their Korean (personally I think their Japanese singles are better too even though their iconic Korean singles is what put them in the market to begin with)

That being said, although imo LionHeart/You Think were weak featured tracks, LionHeart was their best Korean album to date.

I think their Korean albums are good for easy listening, with a few uptempo songs. Their Japanese discography is generally more uptempo and experimental I feel?

That said, my fave albums are The Boys (minus it's weaker title track) and the 1st Japanese album. These two albums don't really have filler tracks imo

Their last album Lion Heart was their best Korean album to date and I really enjoyed The Boys album and Mr. Mr was really solid too!

So I was having some high hopes. Also their Japanese albums >>>>>> Kor any day. They are all extremely good.

their japanese albums are amazing and this is what made me a fan. even remixes on first album were flawless.
i kinda agree with "album artist" remark but maybe it's just my taste. i have to say that as much as i hated igab as title track it was their best album imo. it had great flow, some bops, some slower songs and none of them actually sounded boring or felt like one 40min long track.
