Goo Hye Sun is being selected and crowned as Asia Best Actress in ”2009 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards” brought by Yahoo!Taiwan. Goo Hye Sun now ascends as Taiwan’s Best Hallyu Female Star.
“2009 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards” has come to its 6th consecutive year in this year. The awards ceremony is based on the portal site Yahoo! statistics on which star received the most number of search hits. Goo Hye Sun got the most search hits by Taiwan people and she is being ranked the 1st position for Asia Female Artiste category.
Goo Hye Sun who undertook the role of “Geum Jandi” at “Boys over Flowers” drama which is aired in January earlier this year in Korea, has received explosive local attention while it is airing in Taiwan. During each Taiwan promotion, it has reached the extent that the airport will be congested and many local media will be competing for their news coverage.
Goo Hye Sun will be leaving for Taiwan on December 10. She will be attending the awards ceremony which will be held on December 11.
Goo HyeSun whom getting more and more famous after her appearance in KBS2 TV drama ‘Boys over Flowers’ has been showing her fans that she is more than just an average actress. She did all from acting, movie directing, painting, novel-writing until releasing an album.
Besides those projects mentioned, Goo HyeSun also does endorsement. She is the endorser for Korean cosmetic brand named ‘Somang’ cosmetic. And, she did a good job as the cosmetic brand gained benefits after using her as their model. Her fans even give her a nickname as a person with a “Certified Beauty”.
