Minhyun voice is so important but i think him missing in the new version is actually a good thing because it sounds more raw and sad for the fans? Even jonghyun rap is more sorrowful like the one he performed in fear?

But i think some people reaction is so OTT, minhyun gonna comeback in 2019.. it's a bit long but he's still coming back and nuest has the best adv among all the contestant in PD101, looking on how every group debuted in PD101 S1 for exception of pristin doesnt really receive well.

Also pledis take me money.. imma buying all cosmetic and cd in korea later..

Not coming after you, but I'm genuinely curious, how do you determine whether the group is received well or not? Is it physical copies? Because I follow the melon chart and Pristin, Gugudan and WJSN seem to be on equal standing. Well, 'Happy' not so much, but 'I wish' and 'Secret' were. And gugudan's songs beside the title sell more than pristin's. Also, the most successful IOI alumni as of right now is Chungha. She outsold all the above groups and still going strong in the chart.

I didnt include wsjn and chungha in the list bcos wsjn debuted earlier with yeonjung added later and chungha went as solo singer. Maybe i shouldnt put every group bcos only gugudan fits since dia debuted before pd101, sorry about that.. maybe i need to word it properly.

Received well in term of member recognition and group image. Gugudan didnt so well in it, their image doesnt really fit them. But maybe u can correct me if im wrong tho.

But it doesn't matter. I was wondering what you mean when you say only Pristin was received well. If you said in terms of group image, then group image it is. I follow all IOI ex members' current activities, but not too closely to be able to compare in that regard.

It's kind of easy to see based on views and initial response such as knetz comments. Also further exposure as in say tv appearances and hype for comebacks and such.

There were lots of complaints that gugudan were flops and none regarding PRISTIN. So if you're only dipping your toes in a bit of the fandoms, that's probably why you can't tell.

Maybe. But I also know that usually the antis and the minority are the loudest. I've long steer clear away of comments of those nature. A little more of my brain cells died each time I've encountered those. The sales are more accurate in gauging public response, imo. Also, like you said, tv appearances, and not like gugudan are lacking in those aspects. Granted, not every member, but the same can be said about pristin, too.

I think after the whole dongho case.. which i think going to end since pledis is so confident in releasing the new single. People in omona are still in the fence about them.. but yass gurl another nuest fan.

I feel so attacked with all the releases this week after the whole fiasco, i thought they're going to slow down a bit but pledis was like nah bish. I cant even keep up with everything and im so happy for them for getting all the attention.

They're just always up to date with news so if you want, you can still like their page.

I always liked nu'est but when they released Hello back in 2013, it was what totally sold me!!

They worked just fine when they released 'I'm Bad' without Baekho so this is no surprise to me, Minhyun and Ren filled in the chorus just fine so it doesn't surprise me that Baekho/Ren do the same this time round

Also while it's sad to lose a main vocal, I like 4u'est formations because they keep aron off the rap lmao. (except here but obviously the original song had that rap)

i'm so thrilled with the influx of nu'est stuff these last few days. from the vlives to jonghyun and minki's cf deal to the new show jonghyun just got cast in. i'm glad the broduce fame train is finally rolling.

also this is lovely and the perfect way to repay fans for all the streaming that's been going on lately. minki and aron are solid enough vocalists especially now to hold up for minhyun in the meantime.

I'm happy the group is getting a second chance to become an established act. I hope pledis think about the mistakes they did before and don't repeat them now.

ngl that dongho's case still keeps me an arm away to 100% enjoy nuest rise, but I can't help but be really happy for jonghyun and minki. produce 101 was a wild ride for them. it was so cute seeing them so happy with their number of hearts and viewers for their v lives, how they did everything fans asked even if they were extremely embarrassed. minki talking about shooting his first cf... like it's sad but also heartwarming.

vocally they will do a good job without minhyun and this version is a sign of that. not that minhyun is useless or anything (just his face alone is already necessary lol SORRY), but they've enough vocals to share his lines.

This version is soooooo sad. I couldn't finish it the first time, then caved in and completed the song :( Dongho's voice towards the end </3 I don't know if they recorded this after his dad's passing, but his raw vocals make me think if he actually sang it to his dad and it made me more emo :( I don't know how I became a fan after Produce 101, I think it was just because I miss Jonghyun's constant updates that I slowly caught up with all of NU'EST's previous works and interview and fell for them even harder. Somehow the release of this song (and also Pledis not keeping them in the dark now anymore <3 ) kinda made me feel that Pledis actually tried to keep NU'EST afloat all this while ? Unlike all the mismanagement claims they have been getting all these years.. (just that they made a grave mistake by sending them abroad after debut and that mistake caused them to go downhill after that) :/ Sigh.. 4!NU'EST will do well. I'll be rooting for them soooo much !!
