Synopsis
Yoo Hyun-Jae (Yoon Si-Yoon) is a member of a popular idol group. He has a lot of fans and he is a scandal maker. Meanwhile, Lee Ji-Hoon (Kim Min-Jae) is an aspiring singer. He pretends to be studying for his civil servant exam, but he is actually struggling to become an idol.

I don't like it. Granted, I like Wooseung and I like Hyunjae but I do not see it for them. Their arguments or whatever are cute and funny, so yes, I like them together, but not romantically. There was one good scene with Wooseung and Jihoon and oozed much chemistry from just that scene. Their back and forth feels so much different than WS and HJ's

Now there's MJ in this mix, though he doesn't stand a chance. He still tries and I give him that, lol. The same with Hyeri. Homegirl tries, but it's not about to happen. I'd say why the writers won't just make them date each other since they're both pretty popular in the company. But....Eunwoo is still pretty new in the idol world and I'm not sure about the girl, but I assume she's in a rookie girl group, too? It's too early for the fandom torches. Lol.

I'm very confused about Hyunjae as Jihoon's father now. The watch could mean that Hyunjae is really his dad or it could just be something Bohee gave JH because she had more feelings for Hyunjae and not the person who is actually the father. I only say this because Hyunjae's around Bohee and he doesn't feel anything for her...at all. Wouldn't if you saw someone you used to date and supposedly were so in love with, you'd feel a type of way when you saw them or were around them again? His continued non-reaction makes it hard to believe they did anything because the guy has shown no interest in her whatsoever. He didn't even remember their secret pager code! Lmao.

But now that Jihoon has put two and two together......Idk.

There's only 8 episodes left. HOW ARE MY BABIES JI HOON AND DJ DRILL GONNA DEBUT AND BE SUPERSTARS IN SO LITTLE TIME??

I love ysy / hyung jae and I love the female lead but I'm so much more invested in how all the characters are gonna grow and succeed rather than just the romance. I know I'm in the minority but less romance, more friend / family building!!

I think Hyun Jae not knowing the page code is because he left~ from the past before they got serious/before they started using that code. I can't remember the exact time difference from when he came from the past and when past!Hyun Jae just vanished but there seems to be a significant gap in between (I really should have paid more attention to that chart he made lol). In this weeks episode he even discovers the version of his note book the whatshisface ceo has that contain lyrics and other writings that the other version of Hyun Jae wrote. The time gap is pretty important enough for me not to even remember how big it is lol so I can't help but think it might be in play here.

That said y'all in these post have made other convincing arguments as to Ji Hoon not being Hyun Jae's son so I do see it as a possibility. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens since it looks like Ji Hoon is piecing some stuff together.

See, that makes things even more confusing. Hyunjae is Hyunjae from that time, but in 2017 he isn't the same Hyunjae who's life still went on up until he went missing. The timeline events just...I don't know.

I kind of feel the same way about how Hyun Jae is with Bohee. He seemed so surprised when he found out he had a child with her. It's not to think she would lie, but even in one of the flashbacks when they're running from people and they do down some stairs she looks so much more infatuated with him than he does with her. I mean you can fall in love in a short period of time but ... idk how much of gap from him jumping 20 years into the future and between his disappearance did he spend time with her.

ep 20-21 were a drag, i honestly adore wooseung so i don't mind the heavy focus on her in those eps. but i feel like it heavily focused on the romance and nothing else. theres only a few weeks so i'm nervous to see how things are going to go

i wonder what jihoon is going to do tbh. is he going to confront the man he calls dad or his real dad or is going to try figure it out on his own? also it'd be interesting if he was the one to find out how Hyun Jae disappeared to begin with 'cause someone has to

Exactly, I said the same thing about that scene with them under the stairs. When Gwangjae first told him about Jihoon, it looked like Hyunjae was about to say "But, nothing ever happened with Bohee."

It's the little things. Bohee being so much more taken with Hyunjae when she first saw him as opposed to when he first saw Bohee. I don't know what happened, but from a certain time in 1993 to a whenever Jihoon was born in 1994, needs some explanations asap.
